The beginning....
As most bakers will tell you, their love for baking first started in their Mother's kitchen. That's where our story begins too!
One of the very first things I remember baking with my Mom, was sugar cookies. It was Christmas time, and it was so much fun, cutting out the cookies and watching them puff up in the oven. The house smelled wonderful, and I felt so special and grown up getting to help Mom. As the years rolled by, I learned more about baking from Mom, and that's when I started collecting recipes.....ones I still use to this day.
The happiest moment in my life was when I became a Mom, first to Nick, then to Ashley. To say I love being a mom, would be a huge understatement. I have always loved spending time with my kids. Some of the special memories I have are from around the Holidays, where both kids loved to help with the baking, when they were younger. (Don't tell Nick I shared this with you all!)
It's awesome that my daughter, Ashley, who is all grown up, still loves to bake with me! We both have a passion for baking, and that's why we decided it was time to do something with our talent and our passion.
