Hunting today brought forth chicken! Chicken of the woods! While it seems to be kind of common to the mushroom world (especially on the East coast), we have only had the pleasure of finding this beautiful species once before. What a treat!! Gorgeous, meaty, firm texture to these laetiporus sulphureus - or sulfur shelf mushroom - they don’t sound like food or look like food but they are really yummy.
