Another happy customer - my 10 year old daughter!! She requested a cookie cake for her birthday this year. This was a level up challenge for me because the inspo pic she sent had royal icing cookies on it which I’d never done before. Not sure I’d do it again but - Chocolate chip cookie cake is now available! (Swipe for other cookie cakes I tried out!)

It’s been a busy couple of days of baking! First up was a baby shower cake for a coworker who is expecting his first baby girl! I was granted artistic freedom with this one with the only instructions of using their nursery colors, lavender & yellow! I added some gold flecks of edible paint and accented with gold butterflies and babies breath flowers. This was a 7”, 4 layer almond cake with vanilla buttercream frosting.

I got to experiment again with my own bday cake this year, my husband threw me a 40th birthday party and I made it F🔴R🟡I🔵E🔴N🟡D🔵S theme!

I cheated a bit… ran out of time with family coming in and didn’t have time to bake. Wegmans Bakery to the rescue! I purchased two 7” white cakes, stacked them on top of each other, scraped off the frosting and decorated it with my own buttercream. My daughter printed the Monica’s frame with her 3D printer! This cake came out just as I had envisioned and it was delicious! Here’s to 40!
