Sourdoughs are back in limited supplies

We currently offer 3 cookies with chocolate chips and are considering adding a 4th. These are the differences in ingredients:

Although I processed sourdoughs as usual yesterday and baked them today, something seemed off every step. They just weren’t feeling right. They didn’t rise as well as usual. Someone said it was the humidity… but it is almost always high humidity here. At any rate, there was something going on in the atmosphere that was not sourdough baking friendly. I began cutting into some and was not happy with the quality of the finished product. As a result, the only sourdough breads I will be bringing tomorrow are 4 baguettes. I will have yeast breads like old fashioned brown breads, a cinnamon bread and a sandwich bread. Lots of banana breads and zucchini breads. Cookies and jams. Hopefully the sourdoughs will bake beautifully for next week’s market!

Czech it out! It is bread baking day y’all for market at Farmers Market at The Hangout tomorrow (6/13/26) from 9-2. Sourdoughs offered will be 2 plain, 3 jalapeño cheddar, 2 cranberry walnut, 2 olive sun-dried tomato, 2 olive rosemary, 6 baguettes. Yeast breads: 1 cinnamon raisin loaf and 1 sandwich loaf. 4 old fashioned Brown Breads like you get at the steak houses. Great bread warmed with a nice meal.

We have 2 plain sourdoughs boules ($12 each), 1 jalapeño cheddar ($15) and 1 baguette ($6) left. Can deliver to Buc-ee’s Waller, or Starbucks, PV. Just send a message.

We are at the Farmers Market at The Hangout 16414 FM 362 Waller, Texas from 9-2. Sourdoughs include jalapeño cheddar, cranberry walnut, olive rosemary, plain and baguettes. Also have sandwich bread. Cinnamon raisin, banana and zucchini. Introducing Laura Bush’s Cowboy cookie recipe, as well as 9 other cookie varieties. Also Gluten free peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies. Jams, jalapeño jellies, cowboy candy, apple butter, sweet squash relish. Muffins and brownies, peanut brittle and fudge.
