There’s just something about blueberry muffins 💙

These sourdough blueberry muffins came out soft, golden, and bursting with berries… but they’re more than just a treat to me. They’re a little piece of nostalgia.

My grandpa used to bring home blueberry muffins from a local bakery, and I loved those slow mornings having breakfast with him. While he’s no longer here, something as simple as a warm muffin still brings me right back to his kitchen—and always puts a smile on my face.

Funny how food can hold memories like that 🩷

Crackly crust, gooey pockets of melty cheddar, and just the right jalapeño kick—this loaf does NOT stick around long.

It’s the kind of bread you slice “just to try”… and suddenly half the loaf is gone before it even cools 😅

Perfect toasted, piled high with your favorite sandwich fixings, or honestly just torn apart and eaten straight off the board.

This year’s treats include:
🥜 Chocolate covered Nutter Butter bars $3.50 per bar
🥚 Chocolate peanut butter Easter eggs $3 each or 4 for $10
🥨 Chocolate covered pretzel rods with bunny butt 2 for $5

I’ll only be making a limited quantity of each, so be sure to get your orders in early!

A quick little weekend lake cottage running getaway means one very important thing… I get to bake for my favorite people. 🏃‍♀️💕

On the menu:
✨ Brownie bundt cake with homemade raspberry sauce
✨ White chocolate cranberry cheesecake cookies
✨ And one of my personal favorites… peanut butter & jelly cookies

There’s just something about early miles by the water, tired legs, and coming back to some sweet treats. Friends, food, running — all the things that make my heart so full and happy.

Lake weekends + long runs + homemade treats = my kind of perfect. 💛
