I made these Dutch klompen (wooden shoes) for a young man in my area last weekend. He will be heading to The Netherlands for 2 years. This post is in honor of the Women's Dutch National Team tomorrow as they play against the Women's U.S. team at the World Cup Final. Who are you rooting for? 🇳🇱🇺🇲

Weather may be rainy and cool these few days, but these daisies brighten up the morning. These are for dear Kenady that's leaving on a Church Mission to St. Louis, Missouri. The State's shape in a cookie couldn't be ruled.out. Kenady's Mom Melissa, is someone I love and went to school with all the years of growing up! Melissa had my back when we moved here to a small town as she helped call in the troops to make us feel welcome and get settled. She even secretly did this when we were still in Europe. Getting chairs and furniture pieces that we needed to start! These are my tokens of eternal gratitude.

In the last few years, I've moved from Europe to the Mountain West area of the United States. I haven't done a lot of cookies, but as of today, there is a start. Happy birthday goes to little Amanda who loves horses. These are meant to be party favors for her birthday party. Thank you goes to Sweet Sugarbelle for the original horse face inspiration.

Happy Veterans and Remembrance Day on this 11th of November.... These are poppy cookies I made for a dear friend who has her birthday today. . She is British and the poppies are a special symbol and commemorate the remembrance of those lives lost in the First World War in 1914-1918.

Lisa from The Bearfoot Baker has absolutely done an incredible job on these Santas! If you haven't checked out Lisa's work, go check her out! She is one of my favorites! This and the matching reindeer cutter are absolutely keepers for those who collect cookie cutters!

Christmas time is a time for sugar cookies and Santa cookies are alwasy at the top of this list. This Santa is great for beginners or advanced decorators.

Hello! I haven't posted for some time now... I took a cookie break and spent the summer months being with my little boys! I've finally made some cookies! Here are my recent sunflowers I made for a 9 year old girl's Birthday Party! The weather here has been warm and lots of sunflowers have been in bloom! Ali over at Ali Bee's Bake Shop inspired me on how I did the centers of the flowers! I used the Wilton Daisy Comfort Grip Cutte..Ali's sunflower tutorial can be found on her website.
