It’s a day today! One of my sweet customers sent this to me last week all the way from Machakos, Kenya! A group from her church, including a family originally from Kenya who are very invested in their Kenyan community, are visiting many of the schools in the area to meet with and encourage the students and administrators.

One of my lovely customers I’ve got to know recently, threw a party for her family where they were able to celebrate a handful of blessings and milestones together.

Individually wrapped Blueberry Lemon White Chocolate and Cherry White Chocolate Scones were available to her guests for a sweet treat throughout the evening. Thank you Jan Seaton Szklennik for sending me these pictures and for your kind words 💗

It’s a day today! My friend sent this pic from her recent vacation to Athens, Greece. This was taken outside the Zappeion building, a stately hall, built in the 1880’s for the first modern Olympic Games!

Tomorrow, (4/20) is opening day at Warrenton Farmer’s Market! For more of a traditional flavor, I’ll be bringing a few of these Buttermilk Raisin Scones. Best served warm with lashings of jam and clotted cream, you’ll find it’s the perfect addition to a cup of afternoon tea!

Guess which flavor I’m making today? Did you know that the Apricot and White Chocolate Scone was the original flavor I started making many years ago?
Flavored with almond essence and topped with a little raw sugar before baking, these really are quite a delicious treat to go with your morning coffee or afternoon tea!
I’ll be bringing these and all my other flavors to Warrenton Farmers Market this Saturday 4/20 from 8am-12pm. See you there!

It’s been a minute since I posted, so it’s time to catch all my lovely followers up to speed.

My exciting news is that I now have a website! A central place for all things scones, including flavors and pricing, Farmer’s Market dates and locations, and also a contact button to email me to place orders and arrange pick up times. I also have information on my “traveling scones” and how you can be entered to win a complimentary bag of scones!

Our first Farmer’s Market is coming up and will be Open Day for peak season at Warrenton Farmer’s Market on Saturday April 20th - 8am-12pm.

Wow! What an incredible 2023 we had!

Myself and my family would like to extend a special thank you to everyone who supported my small business this year.

From professional guidance to continued customer loyalty, so many of you helped my world of scones take off!

I’d particularly like to thank my wonderful friend Lisa Kohrt, whose encouraging words helped me take those first steps to turn scone making into a business.

Secondly, I’d like to thank Natalie Lauren
for giving us the opportunity to be a part of Warrenton Farmers Market this summer where we thrived within the community.

A huge shout out to my helpers yesterday at Warrenton Farmers Market! In between loving on all the sweet pups that came our way (and there were many 😂) they helped hand out samples, kept the table stocked up with plenty of scones and handed out raffle tickets for three busy hours. Thanks girls, I couldn’t have done it without you ❤️
Also, a special thanks to my husband who transformed into Santa at 8.59am and became a magical figure for many of the kiddos (and apparently for a few of the ladies too 🤣).

We had a fabulous time yesterday at the Holiday Market in Warrenton. Our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of our customers this season. It was truly a pleasure getting to know this amazing community.
