The huckleberries have made it into our donuts! Starting tomorrow we are doing HUCKLEBERRY FRIDAYS every Friday until supplies last. It will be a first come first serve for huckleberry donuts.
As for the huckleberry season we are limited on huckleberry supplies. We will be doing 2 huckleberry fritters and 2 other huckleberry donuts per transaction. 4 huckleberry donuts total per paying customer. Let’s share the huckleberry love in the next couple weeks 💜
Huckleberry fritter every Friday, along with our huckleberry glazed rings, bars, and white cake. Tomorrow we will be having huckleberry filling in the center of a glazed ring topped with powered sugar. Later on in the next coming weeks we do plan on have huckleberry jam filled as well. Happy Huckleberry season! 🍩 💜

When is rains 🌧 is pours! With bakers being out of town and families sick we have decided to close this Monday June 13th and if that doesn’t seem bad enough, The Donut House fish tank 🐠 decided to dump quite a bit of water in our dinning room area. All fish 🐠 are okay and doing well just some clean up needing to happen. Thanks for the understanding and we will see you all soon 😁

Hello, we are back again with another national food day!! PEANUT BUTTER!! 🥜 Who doesn’t like peanut butter everything right?! We decided we couldn’t have just one day of peanut butter donuts so we are doing our custom donuts Saturday 22nd and Monday 24th. We will be featuring a Reese’s filled donuts, Nutter Butter puppy donuts, Glazed rings striped with chocolate and peanut butter glaze with Reese’s Pieces candy on top, and our chocolate cake donuts topped with peanut butter glaze an a mini Reese. A smile – and a donut – goes a long way toward building human connections. Connections are the goal of World Down Syndrome Day, and at ISP District 1 in Coeur d’Alene, how special we feel today to be part of it.
World Down Syndrome Day is dedicated to raising awareness about Down syndrome and celebrating individuals around the world living with the genetic condition.
Here in North Idaho, Lt Schenck and his family took cookies to the home of a neighbor with several family members with special needs, including Down syndrome. The M&M cookies meant hugs all around.
And Trooper Card was lucky enough to be on duty this afternoon when the Kale family brought 4-year-old Ronin by with super tasty treats from The Donut House , an effort to build connections organized by Ds Connections Nw .
Why today, March 21? According to the World Down Syndrome Day website, the 21st day of the 3rd month was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome.
Ds Connections Nw, they say they envision a world in which all people with Down syndrome have the opportunity to enhance their quality of life, realize their aspirations, and be welcomed as valued, contributing members of their community. At ISP, our goal is to keep communities safe so all families can grow and thrive.
Thank you for allowing us to be part of the connections that come from sharing a smile – and something sweet - with some very special members of our community.
