Another bittersweet day of goodbyes as we wish Dennis, an unsung hero and the official “heavy lifter” of our shop, good bye and great luck.
For the past 7 years Dennis has been hugely instrumental in helping us fill our pastry cases with the good goods, dropping cake and cupcakes like a boss and creating our famous scratch Italian cookies- by hand- like a machine. A giant cookie machine.
He’s also been one of the most reliable, talented and humble people I know. Lots of good times producing great junk food with sticky, dirty hands while laughing along with his stoic humor, Dennis always got things done with great taste and talent. He will be hard to replace- no doubt.
Best of luck Dennis and Janice on your move to Georgia- enjoy the heat and BBQ- the south just gained a great baker that’s for sure.
