ABOUT US: Cakes by Erin was established in 2008 with two things in mind… Cake and a Dream! Back in 1999 Erin started making cakes for her 3 children, family, and friends just for fun. After discovering her son had a severe nut allergy she made it her goal to make all of her cakes NUT FREE. Realizing her new talent for creating one of a kind custom cakes, Erin knew one day she would have her own cake company. With years of practice and a lot of encouragement, Erin, her sister Kelly and Kelly's husband Tim have made that dream into a reality! In 2008 with no professional culinary experience, lots of trial and error and some good basic recipes, Erin was able to start her business out of her home kitchen. Since then the business has grown beyond the limits of her home and Erin's “cakery” dream was born. Erin is making her mark in the cake decorating community and has been featured on the “Matty in the Morning” show on Kiss108, was invited to be a special guest on the "Cake Wrecks Tour", and has partnered with “Birthday Wishes”, a company dedicated to bringing birthday parties to homeless children in Massachusetts. Cakes by Erin is always getting involved with new charities and takes pride that they can give back to the community. At Cakes by Erin we look forward to making YOUR cake dream come true.
