Summer at Udder Delights is going to look a little different… and honestly? I’m really excited about it.

I already have flavor drops planned through the first Sunday in June, so those will stay exactly as scheduled, but after that, Udder Delights will officially shift into its summer rotation menu.

As the weather gets warmer and event season picks up, I’ll be focusing more on the things that move best during summer:

🍭 MORE cakesicles
🍰 Fewer mini cake flavors
✨ Same homemade goodness

Mini cakes will always be the heart of Udder Delights, and that’s never changing, but cakesicles have absolutely taken off, and they’re quickly becoming the perfect grab-and-go summer treat.

So moving forward, you’ll start seeing:
• 2 rotating mini cake flavors each week
• 4 rotating cakesicle flavors
• seasonal specials sprinkled in throughout the summer 👀

This shift gives me more room to:
✨ keep quality high
✨ prep smarter for markets & events
✨ stay creative
✨ and continue growing Udder Delights in a sustainable way

And trust me… summer is about to be FUN. 😌☀️

I am beyond excited to team up with Loaf thy Neighbor next month and beyond.

This is just the beginning of “From Our Herd to Yours”. Head on out to Front Street Fish Co. on June 15th to grab your meal, enjoy conversations, and see why we love this community so much.

It’s hard to believe this will already be our seventh dinner, where does the time go?! What started as a simple way to love on our community (and a goal that we set to feed 5,000 free meals in 1 year) has grown into something so incredibly meaningful that our family looks forward to every month! Each month becomes more special than the last, and every shared meal, conversation, smile, and hug reminds us just how important COMMUNITY truly is!!

We absolutely love seeing all of you come through- families, neighbors, familiar faces, and new ones. These evenings are about so much more than food. They are about connection, support, and making sure no one feels alone. You are LOVED!

Whether you are in need of a hot meal, could use a little extra love during a hard season, are a tired parent needing one less thing to carry (trust me, we get it!), or simply want to sit among community and neighbors - we would be honored to have you join us!!

Today we honor the men and women who gave everything in service to this country. We honor those who never made it home, never got to grow old, never got another holiday with their families.

Their sacrifice is the reason we have the freedom to gather, celebrate, build businesses, raise families, and live the lives we do.

Memorial Day has always carried a weight that words struggle to fully explain. It is solemn. It is sacred, and it deserves more than a passing mention between party plans.

So today, we remember them. We honor them.
We carry their memory forward with gratitude and respect.

May we never forget the cost of the freedoms we so easily enjoy.

They said, “Jayme… can you do a butterfly murder mystery theme? Solid colors, but make the birthday girl’s cakes ombré with blood splatter.”

And naturally my response was: “Say less.” 🔪🦋

Honestly? These may be some of my favorite custom minis yet. Moody. Dramatic. Slightly unhinged.

This is your reminder that Udder Delights LOVES getting creative with party orders: themes, colors, weird ideas, niche vibes — BRING. THEM. TO. ME. because sometimes, plain birthday cake just ain’t enough.

A little behind-the-scenes honesty from the Udder Delights kitchen 👀

I’ve had a few questions about my cakesicles lately, so I figured I’d just be transparent about it.

Yes, I use a box mix base for my cakesicles.

BUT

I heavily doctor my mixes, and I never make them according to the box directions. Ever. There’s no oil going into any of my menu items.

I swap the water and oil for milk and sour cream, add an extra egg, and a heart measure of vanilla extract to create a richer flavor, softer texture, and a cake that actually holds up the way I need it to for cakesicles.

Because here’s the thing, different desserts require different methods. What works beautifully for a layered cake doesn’t always work for a dipped, handheld dessert.

At the end of the day, I care about one thing most:
Making something that tastes good, feels homemade, and makes people happy.

And judging by the empty boxes and repeat orders… I’d say we’re doing alright.

Started from the bottom…and I mean that ((just look)). No shortcuts. No handouts. No one teaching me how to do this.

Just me figuring it out one batch at a time.
From those first cake pops to what you see now…
This didn’t happen overnight. This was built, from the ground up.

Every late night. Every mistake. Every “try again. Turned into this.

I’m so happy you’re along for the ride with me. I’m so glad you choose to support me each week. I hope you know that every order, every like, every comment, and every share truly mean the most to me as I build this little business bigger and bigger every day. I am forever grateful for the community around me.
