Warren Gerald, my grandfather.
Every time I stayed at his house, he made me blueberry muffins, warm from the oven.
A little messy, but ALWAYS made with love.

When I started dreaming up my Saturday Morning Cakesicle lineup, there was no question this flavor had to make an appearance, especially after my trial with Loaf thy Neighbor’s blueberry muffins.

You’ve all seen it, I’m sure: the VIRAL dot cakes.

I HAD to see if they could cakepop. They can. They actually CAKESICLED very well. The dough was TOP TIER (I tried a new tactic), but y’all….the sprinkles.

…and before you say “Jayme, that’s the whole reason”…. I KNOW!!!

I sent out a few trials to get some honest feedback and I got exactly what I thought I would: it’s too many sprinkles. They made it difficult to eat. I’m a little disheartened because I truly wanted to share these with you ALL, and I don’t know maybe I still will, but in the meantime…look how beautiful they are.
