What Ever Will Be Will Be

2020 went by and I did NO paintings! :(
But, hoping 2021 takes me back in the garage to see "What ever will be will be!" That's how it is with Fluid Art/Pour Painting, etc.
I'll be in the Havana AHA (Artists Helping Artists) Pop-Up Art Event tomorrow from 10-5, 307 N. Main Street. Merchants are also having a sidewalk sale although many may be having their sales inside due to the "possible" showers. So, come on over to Havana and spend the day in our quaint little town. Here's a picture of my paintings (taken earlier in the day) and also a picture of one of my favorite paintings by Joy Green.

Hello! I decided to make this page PUBLIC! I created it months ago to post my paintings but then we did some traveling and purchased a fixer upper and painting stopped. I love the name of the page for the paintings because you never know what they will look like. LOL. I just discovered that my Instagram shares to my story were going to this page instead of my personal page thus the posts you'll see here. Hope you'll follow this page and hope I get to paint more soon!

Mother's (of two legged or four legged creatures): Hope you had a special day and if you were alone or staying in, know that you are loved and missed! Here's something that I hope makes you laugh. CBS Sunday Morning had a segment that included "World's Greatest Mother" trophies like these. The best comment was from a mother whose kids gave her one. She said "Why is it a man?". Can you believe these stupid trophies are all over the web for sale for mothers and they are a statute of a male??!! Okay, I hear some of you saying that some men are the mother's. Yep, OK, so make SOME trophies for the millions of mother's that are not male!!!

So many people are suffering right now for many, many reasons. I don't want to lose sight of this fact. But, there are positives to this terrible time we are in. Try to focus on them:
No school shootings,
TRAFFIC is gone,
GAS is affordable,
BILLS extended.
KIDS are at home with their FAMILIES.
PARENTS are home taking care of their CHILDREN.
FAST FOOD replaced by HOME COOKED MEALS.
Hectic SCHEDULES replaced by NAPS, REST, and RELAXATION.
The AIR seems CLEANER.
The WORLD quieter.
PEOPLE are conscious about HYGIENE and HEALTH.
MONEY doesn't seem to make the WORLD GO ROUND anymore.
DOCTORS AND NURSES are being praised and recognized instead of athletes and celebrities
And WE now have TIME, finally,
to STOP and SMELL the ROSES..The positive side above all!!

PS I'm pretty sure this was God's way of telling us to slow down and focus on what is important!!
I'm just saying.......

WHEN YOU THOUGHT I WASN'T LOOKING

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you hang my
first painting on the refrigerator, and I immediately
wanted to paint another one.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you feed a
stray cat, and I learned that it was good to be kind
to animals.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you make my
favorite cake for me, and I learned that the little
things can be the special things in life.

When you thought I wasn't looking I heard you say a
prayer, and I knew that there is a God I could always
talk to, and I learned to trust in Him.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you make a
meal and take it to a friend who was sick, and I
learned that we all have to help take care of each other.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you take care
of our house and everyone in it, and I learned we have
to take care of what we are given.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw how you
handled your responsibilities, even when you didn't
feel good, and I learned that I would have to be
responsible when I grow up.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw tears come
from your eyes, and I learned that sometimes things
hurt, but it's all right to cry.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw that you
cared, and I wanted to be everything that I could be..

When you thought I wasn't looking I learned most of
life's lessons that I need to know to be a good and
productive person when I grow up.

When you thought I wasn't looking I looked at you and
wanted to say,’ Thanks for all the things I saw when
you thought I wasn't looking.'

I AM SENDING THIS TO ALL OF THE PEOPLE I KNOW
WHO DO SO MUCH FOR OTHERS,
BUT THINK THAT NO ONE EVER SEES.
LITTLE EYES SEE A LOT ..

Each of us (parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, teacher, friend)
influences the life of a child.
