With much deliberation and a truly sad heart, I have decided to hang up my apron. While things in some areas seem to be improving, it is just not enough for me at this time to reopen and be profitable.

While I might revisit this little cookie business again some day. For now, Yorktown Cookie Co. is officially closed.

Thank you all for the loyalty and making my cookies a part of your celebrations. From weddings to babies and then birthdays for those babies! I’ve been blessed to see some sweet families grow!

It was a pretty amazing job and a great 16 year run! I’m sorry I didn’t have a stronger business sense to navigate through COVID, but I am one of many small businesses who closed up shop.
This was not an easy decision. But now that the frustration and anger has subsided, my chin is up and I’m looking forward to whatever comes next! Please know I will absolutely miss this!
And the excited happy faces who greeted me with each delivery. I will hold many precious memories dear 🙏

Yorktown Cookie co. Will not be taking any orders for the remainder of 2021 to re-evaluate and restructure. Covid has made running my small business very challenging. We are working on finding a better way to serve our customers! In the meantime thank you for your understanding!

Breaking my absence for a PSA
Do not do business with the UPS store of Warminster! They are negligent, make excuses and could care less if your packages are shipped in a timely manner. I paid good $ to have a package shipped overnight to a cookie customer and the associate helping me gave me no reason to believe he did not understand. The package wasn’t received for 3 days! When I returned to ups to discuss the same associate was there and admitted to his manager what I said was true & added “my bad”.
You would think… full reimbursement right?
Manager states he needs to get approval from owner. 2 days later I get an email which turned into an exchange of emails because no one wanted to actually confront me. Best they can do is 1/2 reimbursement…. It was MY fault I trusted the associate to understand my needs and not read the fine print to catch his mistake! 🤬 WTF😤
Being accused of making a mistake and then adding to this with “I hope you can appreciate we are a small business and mistakes happen “
Seeet baby Jesus this company pushing all my buttons
I make a habit and practice of treating my customers how I would want to be treated. If I get something wrong I own it. If there is time to fix it, I do. If I can not I do not charge… whatever it takes. Go to the post office people. This company deserves to go belly up.

Just going to leave you all with this sentiment and message ~
Made our last delivery of the graduation/summer season and looking forward to a month long hiatus! Thank you to all our fantastic customers! Covid had us down for a bit BUT your loyalty helped us bounce back! Enjoy the rest of your summer and please feel free to leave cookie inquiries on our FB page BUT know it will not get a response immediately or with any urgency. We truly shut down.

People are celebrating again!
Graduation season is in full swing and the lift of Covid restrictions has been great for business! So excited to announce we are fully booked through June! Congratulations grads!

Got this Deja by thing going on...the last “normal” delivery before heading into lockdown due to Covid outbreak was a Roblox design. Here we are , almost a full year later. And I’m wondering and praying for a turnaround!
