Congratulations to the mom and dad to be! Safari themed baby shower cake. Cake is zebra stripe chocolate and vanilla marble cake. Filled with Swiss Meringue buttercream and covered in scratch made marshmallows fondant cheetah spots and zebra stripes over the shower colors of sage and cream. Cake serves approximately 60.

Bridal Shower Cake for a lovely couple tying the knot in September! Cake is tres leches, modified a bit so it can be decorated. Soaked with the traditional "3 milks ", filled with a rich vanilla mousse filling, and iced with swiss meringue buttercream and scratch made fondant. Serves approximately 75 guests. 🎂

This past weekend I had the privilege to make a wedding cake for and attend the wedding of one of my best friends, who more of a younger brother to me. Congratulations Joe and Aly!

Main cake and small gluten free cake are both lemon cake filled with fresh lemon curd and lemon buttercream. Decorated in scratch made fondant and hand painted to match the bridal party and the reception theme Under the Stars. Tiered cake serves up to 128. Gluten Free single tier serves up to 24.

Custom order Mermaid CupcakeToppers made with scratch are fondant. The teal of the mermaid's tail and the sand under the sand dollar are shimmered with a touch of edible glitter. Because everything is better with a bit of sparkle 😊

Cake and cupcakes for a retirement party this past weekend! The hand made cupcake toppers highlighted many of Marie's loves. Cake and cupcakes are both coconut with fresh mango curd filling with buttercream frosting. Cupcakes are Gluten Free and Dairy Free. Happy Retirement, Marie!! 💜

It's been busy around here at Sugar Art By Tami! Most of my time is devoted to my online orders for sugar pieces. Every once in a while, I take on local bake orders as well. This past weekend, I had two. This little gem is the first of the two. "You Are My Sunshine" themed baby shower for a sweet baby girl. The sunshine is a red velvet cake sitting atop an extended tier also in red velvet. ��☀

This little tropical jewel was for a 10th anniversary a few weeks back. Coconut cake with fresh mango curd filling! Frosted in buttercream and adorned with hand made sugar hibiscus and plumeria.

Cake #2! This one was for a vintage car themed graduation party. The car is hand made of sugar paste, or gumpaste, a 2002 BMW. Cake is decedent vanilla butter cake filled with fresh ruby red strawberries and vanilla buttercream. Iced in scratch made vanilla fondant and brown fondant chevron stripes.
