This is what the Hartford Farmers Market is all about! 🌸🍞

Cindy and Chris from Krenke's Quails have been some of our biggest supporters since day one — and seeing our Tomato Basil Focaccia turned into a grilled cheese masterpiece? We are absolutely honored! 🧀

The vendor community at the market is something truly special. We show up for each other and that's what makes Saturday mornings so incredible.

If you haven't tried the focaccia yet — Cindy just gave you the best reason to 😄

We love to shop at our fellow vendors when selling at farmer's markets. As usual, our purchases did not disappoint! We love to buy the tomato focaccia bread made by Wink's Craft Bakery . I slice it, invert tomato toppings , so they are inside of sandwich. I like to use 3 cheeses-- one of them being Butterkase we purchase from Hildebrandt Family Farms . Once grilled, slice in wedges for dramatic effect. The tomato & basil flavors are the star of the sandwich with tasty melty mild cheeses throughout. The focaccia is light airy & develops a fabulous crunch when toasted! If you haven't had this since I talked about it last season, give it a try this year! 😋

Two of my favorite things happened today — the first farmers market of the season AND getting to marry two incredible people. If this is how the season is starting, I can’t wait to see what’s next. Congratulations you two! 💒
