Sometimes I like to try new things, and I stumbled onto this recipe for polvorones — turns out they're not actually wedding cookies at all, they're a Christmas tradition in Mexico.

Went down a whole rabbit hole on the history (Spain, Morocco, convent nuns — wild journey for a cookie 😅). Added a little brown butter twist to make it my own.
