Monday’s menu is here, and there’s a new one joining the lineup this week. 👀

✨ NEW THIS WEEK: SOURDOUGH CONCHAS ✨

A soft, sweet sourdough bun with that signature crackly co**ha topping — available in vanilla bean or cacao. I’ve been excited to finally put on the table, and today is their West Perry debut.

There’s a little bit of August tucked into this week’s menu. 🍑🌿

The peach pull-apart loaf is making its first appearance at Sourdough Sanctuary, baked with beautiful local peaches from Three Springs Fruit Farm — one of our fellow West Perry vendors. Soft, buttery layers, ripe summer peaches, and plenty of reasons to pull off “just one more” piece.

And the Pophearts are BACKKKKKK. ❤️‍🔥 They missed you. I missed them. You missed them. We’re all very happy to be reunited.

And because one new sweet wasn’t enough, I made you a raspberry pistachio sweet roll: homemade raspberry jam made with local raspberries, a pistachio glaze, and chopped pistachios over the top. Tart, nutty, buttery, and very much worth getting there early for.

Alongside those new faces, the breads and confections you know are filling the table — including the classic artisan loaf, rosemary loaf, Appalachian Trail cookies, Palermo brownies, and more.

The bread table is bringing the classics, plus two very different takes on summer corn: fire-roasted corn & poblano “Esquites” and miso sweet corn. And then we’re getting into the good stuff — pecan sticky buns, peach coffee cake, Belgian waffles, fresh scones, caramel corn biscotti, and honey butter polenta cookies. 🤎

There are few things better than a summer afternoon with a good glass of wine, something beautiful to eat, and nowhere else you need to be. 🍷🌽

I’m so excited to be back at Gruver Farms this Sunday for their Sweet Corn Celebration!

I had a lot of fun with this menu. Think Pennsylvania stone ground wheat, fire-roasted sweet corn, local poblano, savory miso, ripe peaches, toasted pecans, vanilla sherry, bright orange, warm cardamom… all worked into the kind of sourdough breads and confections I love bringing to the table.

It’s a little rustic, a little elegant, and very much made for grazing between sips.

For my wine people, if you’re looking for a place to start: let’s talk WINE PARINGS
🥂Albariño or Frontenac Gris with that fire-roasted corn & poblano or miso focaccina?
🍷My red lovers… Cabernet Franc or the Pinot Noir with a classic artisan loaf or fougasse?

Tomorrow’s menu has a little extra West Perry woven into it. 🌿

I’m especially excited about this week’s confections because several of them feature ingredients sourced right here at the market. There’s something really special about being able to shop for local ingredients from the people who grow and produce them, then bring those ingredients back to my kitchen and make them part of next week’s menu. Along with my mission to provide you bakes made strictly with wheat flours milled within our beautiful state, I seek my other ingredients as close to home as I can get!

I’m making it very difficult to leave my booth empty-handed this weekend. 😂

Between the fresh artisan bread, Peach Coffee Cake, Blueberry Scones, Pecan Sticky Buns, and Piña Colada Biscotti... I may have gotten a little carried away.

Thankfully, that’s your problem now. 😉

Whether you’re stocking up on bread for the week or treating yourself to something sweet, tomorrow’s menu has a little bit of everything—from Classic Artisan Loaves and Dave’s Daily Dozen Sandwich Loaves to Jalapeño Cheddar, NEW! Ciabatta rolls, English muffins, and plenty of Sanctuary favorites.

I’ll be at the Dillsburg Farmers Market tomorrow from 8 AM–NOON. Come early if you’ve had your eye on something specific—I have a feeling a few of these favorites won’t be hanging around for long.
