We love our Cookie Community Kiddos 🍪🩷

I love hearing their giggles, seeing their big smiles, and watching them make the “hardest decision of their life” trying to pick ONE flavor 😂

Over the past three years, the moments I looked forward to the most opening the Cookie Shop was seeing all the kids come in for their favorite cookies!

So…. Call your mom friends, grab a box of cookies and then take the kids to the pool or the park!!! It’s a gorgeous day to be outdoors with cookies & your community 😊🩷

Wow!!! Where has the month gone?! Thank you again for all your support, smiling faces, and patience as we navigate all the new adventures of running a storefront!

“Can you use my order to bless someone” ~ anonymous

Yesterday, the coolest thing happened! It was a reminder of how we have the best cookie community, and how sometimes God uses inconveniences to bless others!

One of our cookie community members who preordered cookies, was unable to pick up their order due to the weather throwing off their schedule for the day! Instead of complaining, asking for a refund, or seeing if we would deliver… she asked if we could bless someone else with her box of cookies! So…. here’s how we honored her request 🤭

Earlier that day, a young mom braved the POURING rain to grab a box of cookies for her and her family! When they went to eat them after dinner… she found out her dog had jumped onto the table and decided to eat them all! When she arrived back at our shop that evening to order more cookies and told me what happened, I handed her the box of cookies that were unable to picked up… which happened to have been her EXACT order earlier that morning?!?!

I just smiled and told her “God works in mysterious ways! Someone was unable to pick up her order and asked me to bless someone with it!”

I hope this encourages y’all that there are still selfless people in the world, that God can turn your inconveniences into a blessing for someone else, and you can be a witness/share the gospel to others in any job you choose 🍪🩷

No purchase necessary, although we’d love a picture :) We have fresh baked cookies from 12-7pm (or until sold out) and are located in downtown Harlingen 😊🩷

We were awarded Small Business of the Month 🥹🩷

Wow wow wow! As if this month couldn’t get any sweeter! Thank you so much Norma Sepulveda, Harlingen Mayor for this honor and choosing us to be Small Business of the Month!!!

Opening up Cookies 4 College in downtown Harlingen has been the best decision I’ve ever made. The support from the community, city officials, neighboring businesses, and our cookie community continues to exceed any expectations and better than I dreamed!

Thank you Harlingen, thank you to the sweetest & most supportive husband, thank you to my family being quick and willing to help, thank you to my amazing helpers, thank you to the greatest cookie community for continuing to show up at 11:45am, and thank you Jesus for continuing to bless me far more than I deserve!

Cookies 4 College GRADUATES 🥹🙌

Jerry graduated with his Masters in Social Studies and came straight to Cookies 4 College to celebrate with a box of cookies!!!

Seeing Jerry walk in with his cap and gown made my heart burst, and look forward to one day seeing our scholarship recipients walk through our doors in their caps and gowns! Congratulations Jerry!!! I hope you have a safe trip to Kenya, and classes this summer for your doctorate are amazing! You’ve got this 🙌

P.S High School and College graduates get one free cookie this Saturday or next Saturday! Just show up in your cap & gown and maybe take a picture in our cookie seat 😊🩷 We can’t wait to CELEBRATE you and all you’ve accomplished!

P.P.S WE STILL HAVE COOKIES TODAY! We have about 10 dozen cookies left and are open until 7pm :)
Please stop by on your way home and help us sell out! We stay busy 12-4pm, but our evenings from 5-7pm have been SUPER slow!
