🏀🏀It’s Basketball Time!! 🏀🏀
Girls Basketball Practice will begin next week!

-Pre-K through 1st Grade Basketball will begin Tuesday, November 30th at 6:00 at the Poplar Gap Gym.

-Grades 2nd-3rd are TBA.

-Grades 4th through 7th will start Monday, November 29th at 6:00pm at the Harman Gym.

IMPORTANT: IT’S NOT TO LATE!!!
If you haven’t filled out a registration form to play girl’s basketball, you are still more than welcome to attend practice on the above dates. We will certainly get you signed up on site!!

🏀Wonder what Recreational League Basketball has to offer you? Recreational League will be using experienced and skilled coaches as a part of the recreactional league process. These coaches will be able to provide insight on the standards of the games and how to achieve the goals of the game. What is different about recreational league? The basics will be addressed to each child to build them to the standard of the next level of middle school and high school levels. Choosing Recreactional League Basketball for your child will provide those basics and skilled essentials most children need to excel on the court. The League provides a positive experience to each child filled with memories of a lifetime and a foundation to strive for. Our goal is to give every child the opportunity to excel in what he or she enjoys and loves. The program provides children with the chance to have those skills to be competitive with those around us. We want to give children the opportunity to grow to their potential and shine as they were made to do!
*We will be having a meeting at the Athletic Fields at Poplar Gap in the Park Office Conference Room this Monday, November 15th at 7:00pm. We invite all of those interested in the league or may have questions about the league to please attend the meeting where we answer any questions you may have.

🏀🏀Recreational League Sign Ups will begin today at the Harman Gym 5:30pm-7:00pm. Come on out and get signed up for the new recreational league that will help teach your child everything they need to know about the game of basketball! If you are unable to attend these sign ups you’ll have plenty of options at one of the available dates and times! Please see below for those dates:

The New Buchanan County Youth Boys & Girls Recreational Basketball League will be having girls basketball sign ups for the next two weeks. The league will construct a girl’s season separate from that of the boy’s season. The league’s goals are to bring kids to love the game and sport of basketball. The League will strive to build basic and competitive skills on the court. There will be strong leadership guidance from experienced instructors to guide kids into the next phases of middle and high school basketball. The League’s goal is to educate players better, teach the basics, use the training by experienced instructors to grow the kids to their full potential. The League will be a winter league. This will provide each and every child the opportunity to play multiple sports within the year and enjoy everything youth has to offer them. This also allows your child to prosper in each sport they choose to be apart of. The league will not overlap different sport seasons to ensure just that. The League will provide well thought out instruction to kids in grades Pre-K through 7. For additional questions please call 935-5725 or email [email protected]
