As some of you know I’ve been fighting with CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) since 2014 when I returned home from college. My entire life changed but I’ve stayed positive through it all. Over the past 2+ years I’ve been on dialysis 3x a week November 27th will make 3 years to be exact. Honestly this journey hasn’t been the easiest for my family and I but I’m so grateful to have them during this time in my life from the countless surgeries, full days of appointments, treatment days, sleepless nights, the hotel stays, and especially the traveling!! During this journey I’ve kept my faith and trust in God because through all of this He is still in full control and has me covered. I’ve pushed to keep a positive attitude and smile through it all because things could be worse so I’m always thankful!!! This past week I was approved to receive a kidney and pancreas transplant and I can’t thank God enough for blessing me with this opportunity. I honestly can get the phone call at any day now. It’s kind of like drop everything and head to the hospital. So today I’m asking for your help. I started a fundraiser that will help with the my transplant expenses. The funds collected will go toward my transplant needs, traveling expenses, as well as my recovery time after transplant. Since my transplant surgery won’t be done at a local hospital I’ll be away from home for about 3 months due to weekly doctors appointments, new medications, check ups, and continuous bloodwork after receiving my transplant. This will all be new to me so please continue keeping me in your prayers and I also know God has me as well. I'm truly just thankful to get back to the person I use to be. If you all could help it would mean so much honestly even if you can’t donate a simple share can reach someone who can. Thank you all so much!! 💚
