IT’S FRIDAYYYYY 😝

It’s rainy, gloomy, 60° outside and I am LOVING IT. I’m not in the fall mood yet but this might be pushing me towards it…

Yesterday was one of those days where I spent the entire day in the kitchen and didn’t even realize how late it was until I was getting ready for bed and looked at my phone that read 12:14 a.m. As in…10 hours ago.

I’m 23, still very much figuring out this whole “being an adult” thing, teaching during the week, baking on the weekends, trying to keep up with my house, my dog, my boyfriend, and the 900 other hobbies I pick up. And somehow, in the middle of all of that, I get to bake for my community and grow Sherlock’s Hearth!

But hey!!! I figured I’d let you guys see a little more of the person behind all the baked goods.

Anyway, Sherlock’s Hearth is stocked for the weekend and I’m VERY excited! Come stop by, grab a treat and enjoy the start of the weekend! I’ll be here planning our school year with Sherlock at my side until Kyle comes home. Happy Friday!! 🩷🍸

Giving a little life update…Sherlock’s Hearth has been a little quiet the last couple of weekends because I’ve been busy soaking in the last few weekends of summer! I saw The Glam Band (for the 4th time!) with some friends, went home to see family, started our living room renovation (finally), and Kyle gave me an entire weekend to do whatever I wanted…so naturally we bopped around Green Bay for the day and then did nothing the next 😆. Now professional development starts next week, which means summer is basically over and I’m not emotionally prepared, BUT I am SO ready to see my kiddos and have a fun year!

I had an itch to bake today so here we are. Sherlock’s Hearth will be open this weekend, Friday-Sunday! Cookies, cinnamon rolls, fresh bread & some fun new things are coming.

Hey all! I wanted to give a little update about this weekend…Sherlock’s Hearth will be closed so I can spend some much needed time with my family. Life has been busy lately between this small business, school starting back up soon, and the regular hustle and bustle of daily life.

This weekend, I’m slowing down. I’m spending time with family, admiring my moms beautiful garden (and maybe stealing a couple veggies to take back home) and picking up some hobbies I have been putting on the back burner. I think we all need that reminder every now and then.

Thank you all for understanding and I hope this weekend you too can find some time to relax, unplug, and be present. Whether that’s digging in the garden, spending time with your loved ones, picking up an old hobby, or just sitting outside with your dog.

A little behind the scenes of Sherlock’s Hearth…

Some days I feel like I know what I’m doing, and other days I’m standing in my kitchen surrounded by flour, dishes, and 17 different ideas wondering what I got myself into.

Honestly tho? I love this.

Day 2 at Sherlock’s Hearth!

Yesterday was such a fun day at the stand, and I’m so excited to be stocked up again this morning!

I have to say…I think the Strawberry Sweet Rolls might be my favorite thing I’ve made so far! They’re filled with homemade fresh strawberry filling and topped with a sweet vanilla glaze. They taste just like Summer!

Today’s stand is filled with:

Sunday update 🤎🌿

After an incredible day yesterday, Sherlock’s Hearth will be closed today.

We completely sold out at the 988 benefit poker run, and I’m so grateful for everyone who showed up and supported. I will be taking it easy today and giving Sherlock some much needed snuggles.

Thank you all so much for the love and support. I can’t wait to get back in the kitchen soon!

A little community love from Sherlock’s Hearth 🤎🌿

Tomorrow (Saturday), Sherlock’s Hearth will be bringing fresh baked goodies to the 988 benefit poker run at Pack it in Pub, LLC🍪✨

This place holds a special spot in our hearts. We absolutely love the people there and the way they show up for our community. They are truly some of the kindest people, and I’m so grateful to be part of an event that brings people together and supports such an important cause.

I’ll have treats available while supplies last:

Friday Bake Drop 🤎🌿

Happy Friday! Sherlock’s Hearth is stocked and ready for the weekend!

After a few stormy days, it feels so good to finally have a sunny Friday back in the kitchen ☀️🤎 I hope everyone is safe and doing okay after it all.

Sherlock has been my baking supervisor all morning, carefully watching every step.

Today’s fresh baked goodies:

Everything is made in small batches from my home kitchen with simple, homemade care and lots of love.
