Today is the official ribbon cutting for my friend, Pilar’s amazing candy store called Candy Craft located at 115 S. Main Street in Fountain Inn and although I can’t be there in person (wish I could!), I’m cheering her on with my whole heart. 🥹💛

I’m incredibly honored to have my homemade fudge featured in her store…it means the world to me. She tried it, loved it, and believed in it enough to put it on her shelves, and I’ll never forget that kind of kindness and support. 💗

It’s getting hot, y’all!!! 🥵☀️ As the warmer days approach it’s important to know how to keep your custom cake from melting or shifting on the ride home:

CAKE CARE TIPS FOR HOTTER WEATHER! 🌞🌞🌞

1. Never place your cake on a car seat! Never ever ever!
Seats are tilted and can cause the cake to slide or lean. Instead, place it FLAT in the back of your SUV or on the floorboard. Never put your cake in the trunk in the summertime!

2. Turn on the A/C before picking up your cake.
Hot cars and buttercream don’t mix! Let your car cool down a few minutes and keep it running with A/C if you’re waiting. Lay your cake out of the sun’s beam if possible!

3. Drive carefully!
Sharp turns, bumps, and sudden stops can cause your cake to slide. Take it slow and steady.

4. Store in a cool place.
Once home, keep your cake in the fridge until about 1 hour before serving for best texture and freshness.

I put love into every cake, and I want it to arrive and be enjoyed just as beautifully as it left my kitchen!

Most go for ganache, but I’ll always choose a good old-fashioned Southern glaze. There’s just something special about that homemade touch on a rich chocolate Bundt. Even better when you spend countless hours making your own recipe and it comes out so moist and delicious! 😋 🤤

Homemade banana 🍌 pudding made from scratch. There’s nothing like the old-fashioned way where you get the unique taste of grandma’s custard made from egg yolks slow-simmered right on the stove! This Southern pineapple cake is perfect for Easter! 🐣 Made with real fresh, cooked pineapple🍍slow-simmered and added into the batter and cooked to moist golden perfection. It has delicious layers of homemade pineapple filling. Covered in whipped cream and a sprinkle of toasted coconut flakes. Then topped with a dried pineapple.

My cakes are made with handmade butter and buttermilk that I personally make right in my kitchen to give my desserts a taste of what homemade really is! It doesn’t get more organic than that! 🥛🧈 🎂
