Apparently Honor Roll is having salad for dinner this week 😂🥗

This month’s surprise Honor Roll treat was a bag of Classic Sourdough Croutons… and judging by the salad pictures already hitting my inbox, I think they were a hit. 😂

And apparently I’m the odd one out because while everyone else is making gorgeous salads, I’ve just been snacking on these things by the handful. 🤣 They’re DANGEROUSLY snackable.

One of my favorite parts of Honor Roll is getting to sneak a little something extra into your bags each month! Sometimes it’s sweet, sometimes it’s savory, sometimes it’s something brand new… and apparently sometimes it inspires everyone’s dinner plans. 🤍

I LOVE seeing what you guys do with your Schoolhouse goodies, so please keep the pictures coming!!

We are SO excited to be making Schoolhouse Snack Co.’s Russell County debut at the Paradise Fall Festival on Saturday, September 19th! 🎃🍁

If you haven’t been to Paradise Fall Fest before, they’ve got an entire day planned with food, vendors, kids activities, Greyhound lure races, co****le, bingo, raffles, and live music into the evening! And Paradise is just about 20 miles north of Russell, KS!

🍁 Your best French toast ever is coming this fall…

Maple Pecan French Toast is easily one of our favorite fall breakfasts around here, right alongside Maple Pecan Cinnamon Rolls, of course. 😋

And it couldn’t be easier!

🍞 Start with thick slices of our Maple Pecan Sourdough
🥚 Coat them in a mixture of egg, milk, cinnamon + maple syrup
🧈 Pan fry in butter until golden and crispy around the edges
🍁 Top with maple syrup, pecans, powdered sugar… or whatever your breakfast-loving heart desires!

The maple-y, nutty sourdough gets all caramelized in that butter, the pecans toast up even more, and suddenly regular French toast feels a little boring. 🤤
