✨ Throwback to my co**ha practice days ✨

These Lisa Frank-inspired co**has were made back when I was practicing almost every single day.

And when I say every day… I mean EVERY day. 😂

Most days my co**has didn’t sell. They ended up getting eaten by my family, my mom, my siblings, or anyone willing to take them off my hands.

I still remember making about 4 dozen Strawberry Crunch co**has one day. They were AMAZING. Seriously some of the best I’d made at that point.

And not a single one sold.

Not one. 😂😭

I felt defeated. I questioned whether anyone would ever want to buy my co**has. I came so close to giving up.

But instead, I kept baking.
I kept practicing.
I kept learning.
I kept sharing.
I kept getting the word out.

My first co**has weren’t perfect, but little by little I figured out the science behind them.

Fast forward to today, and now I’m rolling 28 dozen co**has in a day and selling out in minutes. 🥹🙏🏼

Looking back, I’m so thankful I didn’t quit when nobody was buying.

And come August… these Lisa Frank-inspired beauties are making a comeback. 💜🩷🩵

Just imagine what they’ll look like with everything I’ve learned since then. 🔥👑

Co**ha Lady recovery update 🫶🏼

I had my second round of iron infusions today, which means I actually got to leave my house for a few hours. 😂 I’m finally starting to feel a little more human again.

I won’t lie… I’m sooo tempted to make co**has this weekend for my daughters and myself. Maybe if nobody tells my doctor, I can. 🫣😂

Just kidding.

…Kind of.

No, but really. I want a co**ha so bad right now. 😩

🤎 Biscoff Cookie Butter Co**has 🤎

If you know, you know. 😍

Soft co**ha topped with creamy cookie butter drizzle, crunchy Lotus cookie crumbs, and the iconic Biscoff cookie on top.

This flavor was pure indulgence from the very first bite.

Sweet, buttery, crunchy, and just the right amount of extra. ✨

Every time I made these, they disappeared fast. And honestly? I can’t blame anyone. One look at that cookie butter drizzle and my self-control is gone. 😂

Definitely one of those flavors that reminds me why I love creating gourmet co**has. 🫶🏼🤎

One of my very first Dulce Orgullo originals. ❤️

Inspired by a trip to La Chona, Jalisco, this co**ha combined two flavors that most people would never think to put together:

🍓 Sweet strawberry jelly
🧀 Queso cotija

And somehow… it just worked.

The sweet and salty combination was unlike anything I’d ever tasted before, and everyone who tried it absolutely loved it.

Looking back, La Chona was one of the first moments I realized that co**has could be so much more than traditional flavors. It gave me the confidence to start creating the unique flavor combinations that would eventually become part of the Dulce Orgullo story.

She may not have been my first co**ha, but she was definitely one of the first flavors that felt uniquely mine. ❤️🇲🇽

A full 360 moment.

A little over a year ago I was making co**ha-shaped cake pops just because I thought they were cute. I never imagined that one day co**has would become such a huge part of my life.

What started as a creative idea slowly turned into a passion, then a dream, and now a business that has connected me with so many amazing people in our community.

From cake pops shaped like co**has… to becoming known as Grand Junction’s Co**ha Queen. 👑🫶🏼

If you would have told me back then that I’d be rolling hundreds of co**has at a time, selling out, building a brand around my culture, and planning an expansion, I probably wouldn’t have believed you.

It’s funny how life works. Sometimes it takes a while to find your thing.

For me, it was co**has. ❤️🇲🇽

Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this journey. Dulce Orgullo wouldn’t be what it is today without all of you.

I have officially reached a level of customer support I never expected. 😂❤️

Today I received this message from a friend/customer and I have not stopped smiling.

Apparently my coconut co**ha has become medically necessary.

The fact that someone is planning their own 6-week recovery around my 6-week recovery and has informed me that their healing depends on a coconut co**ha is both the sweetest and funniest thing I’ve heard all week. 🥹😂

But on a serious note, messages like this mean so much to me. What started as me learning how to make co**has in my kitchen has turned into friendships, inside jokes, and a community I genuinely love being a part of.

So to everyone patiently waiting for Dulce Orgullo to reopen in August… thank you. ❤️

And to the coconut co**ha fans…

Recovery update:

So… I may have made a tiny mistake. 😅

I just went on an online shopping spree for Dulce Orgullo and now I’m even MORE anxious to get back to baking.

New supplies are on the way.
New ideas are filling my head.
My cart is empty.
My bank account is concerned. 😂

Meanwhile, I’m over here following doctor’s orders, trying to rest, while mentally planning 47 new co**ha flavors, new packaging, stickers, and everything else I want to do when I’m back in the kitchen.

August can’t come fast enough. 🥹🩷

Until then, I’ll just be tracking packages like they’re my full-time job.

🥹🩷 Mom confession time…

Today we officially enrolled my first baby, Valentina, in preschool.

And let me tell you… I am not okay. 😭

I know this is such an exciting milestone and I’m so proud of her, but how is it possible that the tiny little baby I was rocking to sleep feels ready for school already? Wasn’t she just born yesterday?

The thought of being apart from her, even for a few hours, has me all kinds of emotional. I’m excited for her to learn, make friends, and grow… but this mama’s heart is having a really hard time keeping up. 🥹🩷

Everyone keeps telling me, “You’ll love the break!” but right now all I can think about is how much I’m going to miss her.

So tell me honestly… how did you all survive sending your first baby to preschool or kindergarten? Does it get easier? Or am I destined to cry in the parking lot with an iced coffee and waterproof mascara? 😭☕️

Please tell me I’m not the only one. 🩷🥹 💕
