A Little Community Goes a Long Way

Recently, I had the opportunity to participate as a panelist at the SOLA Food Summit, organized by the Acadiana Food Alliance, and it was such a heartwarming experience.

I got to share a little of my own story and journey with the public, listen to other farmers talk about their experiences, and make new friends along the way. It's easy to get caught up in the day-to-day work on the farm, so having the chance to step back, connect with others, and hear about the work happening across our local food community was a lovely reminder that we're part of something bigger.

I'm grateful to have been included and to have met so many people who care about the future of food in Acadiana.
