Hey Bread Lovers,

Yep... it's Saturday morning and we are up super early getting bread ready for you. The classic sourdough breads just came out of the oven and we putting in the Cheddar Garlic. Scones, croissants, pockets, and muffins are out and cooling, the cinnamon rolls need a little more proofing time and we get them out. 4 am, we've been busy this morning.

What a great feeling to see bread and rolls coming out the oven. I often hope/wonder if those loaves are making people lives just a little bit better. You just gotta believe...

We will be open at 8:00 this morning, if you need something earlier, tap on the window and if its ready we will help you out. Patty and Cassie are in at 6 am to get everything set up.

A few more weeks of markets and then we will reset the store hours for the fall. I am taking a week off starting on Oct 12. Then we start gearing up for Thanksgiving.... it will be here sooner than you think.

Hey Bread lovers,

Labor Day????? Wasn't it just the 4th of July? What happened to the summer... come back...

Not to worry, we got ya covered for Labor Day! Today's Savory Rolls: . Hot Dogs and Sausage Wrapped in Sourdough, and... wait for it... Cheeseburger Savory Roll. It's hamburger, pickles, ketchup, onion and cheese in a savory roll. (yea, we're having fun). AND we have S'mores Muffins, and Apple, Blueberry and Cherry Fruit Pockets (like mini pies) (are you seeing a theme?). We have two additional vegetarian rolls as well.

Burger, dogs, Smores and Apple pie.... yep, its is definitely Labor Day Weekend.

Open till 5:00 pm today and we will be running the cheeseburger savory roll tomorrow morning as well.

Hey Bread Lovers!

Yep, this Wednesday at Grafton Farmers Market, you can get some bread and jam, as JAM JAR the band that Cassie (my daughter) and Cael, (an employee of BGB's) are in. They are performing at the market this week. So, cool!! I bet Taylor Swift doesn't have a Dad that makes bread... just saying...

Bread Guy and Lead Singer Daughter together in one market. (sniff) Not only that (but that should be enough) it is the World Premiere of the "Dinner at the Market", "Jazz Night", "Back to School", markepoluzza, happening right here in Grafton. There are lots of vendors, we're open till 7 pm, lots of food trucks, amazing entertainment (as discussed above) and bread... of course.

Lordy, lordy, it does not get much better than this...

So, come for the entertainment, come for the vendors, come for dinner, and definitely come buy some bread.

See you on Wednesday 2 - 7 pm on the common, Bread Guy Breads and Jam Jar, bread and jam, what a combo!

BTW, service might be a little slow since most of my market employees are in the band. :-)

Hey Bread Lovers,

Big day! Store is open till 2:00 pm with lots of bread and rolls. And, today is our return to the Grafton Farmers Market after the cancellation for weather last week.

It's rainy a present but should be better in the afternoon. A cool afternoon, just something to remind us that summer is fleeting. That being said, I am not complaining about doing a market in less than 90 degrees.

OK. looks like a stormy weekend and today is a good opportunity to grab some bread before the ugly weather shows up. There are a lot of great vendors at the market today. It's gonna be a fun day.

Sad to inform you but Grafton Farmers Market is closed due to weather today.

BUT!!!! The store is still open and we will stay open till 5:00 today. We have a lot of bread made for today, and we will have all the things we only bring to market, at the store. That means quick breads, fruit pockets, focaccia, Asiago/Parm bread, and we have muffins, savory rolls and much more. It's a full display case today.

Bon Jour Bread Lovers,

It's the Paris Olympics and we have lots of Pain for you... not pain as in ouch, but Pain as bread in French. Stop in for a Baguette and maybe even a croissant (next week, not today). Get some bread and cheer on our Olympic Athletes!

In support of the international athletes we have Italian Bread, Polish Babka, French Baguette, Greek Olive Bread, Belgian Chocolate Baguette, and well, I am totally making up these names of breads... but we have lots of good stuff.

Open today (Friday) till 5:00 pm. Our fruit pockets are here, we have delicious savory rolls and if your heading to the Cape we have cheese bites, pretzels and lots of great food to eat in the traffic... I mean car.
