Hey Bread Lovers!

A very Merry Christmas to all. Today I think I might have made my last cinnamon roll in this location. Bitter sweet, I’ve made a lot of bread in these ovens but I’m so looking forward to the next adventure in the new store.

This week was so much fun. We made well over 400 loaves and hopefully helped make everyone’s holiday more fun and enjoyable. It was great to see so many people getting their bread for the holidays. It is always great to see everyone!

Next week is a week off with my family. One of us is going to turn 16, (hint, it’s not me, or my wife, or my dog.). Then I will begin to pack things up at my house and maybe put my kitchen back to normal (if possible).

No forms for a while, I will keep everyone posted and look for upcoming information about our soft opening.

Hey Bread Lovers,

I had a customer that was unable to take their order today. It is a big order so I would like to sell it if possible.

1 Choc Bread -$10
1 Olive Bread - $10
1 classic sourdough - $6
1 Baguette - $4
1 Classic -$6
1/2 dozen cinnamon rolls - $10
1 dozen cinnamon rolls - $20

I will check back and in short bit and let you know. Preference to someone who will take it all... (It freezes really well and I am not making bread for a while as I move into the new space.)

This will be the first respond type of thing.. Pick up tonight if possible, I am making cinnamon rolls till about 8:30 pm.

MERRY, MERRY, HO, HO and HAPPY, HAPPY! I am so looking forward to helping make your holiday celebration a little more complete with fresh bread! Makes me super happy to help!

No order forms tonight. Actually, I will not be posting for a bit until I get started again in the store.

Christmas is full to the brim! I will be sending out confirmations today and tomorrow. Please check your order forms for accuracy.

Anyone picking up on Friday 12/23 and Saturday 12/24, it will be later in the day. I was just looking at my lists and realizing it is going to take a little longer to make all this bread every morning.

I hope everyone has a great holiday season and a great New Year. My New Year's wish is that next year goes really well with all the changes about to happen to Bread Guy Breads. It has been a great couple of years. As I reflect on what we have done so far, my first thoughts go to how much I have enjoyed getting to know customers and how happy I am to have the opportunity to support our community. Great Bread equals Great Happiness is our motto and here's to continuing that commitment in 2023. Looking forward to seeing you at the new store.

Wednesday, 12/14 - I will be at the Grafton Holiday Farmers Market. This form is a the pre-order for the market, you can pick up at my house from 11-12 pm or pick up at the market 1:30 -5:00 pm. The Market is in the Municipal Center Gym at 30 Providence Street, Grafton. I am bringing the regular menu of breads and rolls and will be featuring 1/2 dozens of Cranberry-White Chocolate Cinnamon Rolls. Here is the order form.

Make your plans for Wednesday! It is the last Grafton Farmers Market for 2022 and my last in-person sale of the year. (Hint... Sourdough Bread freezes really well.)

Grafton Farmers Market will host a Holiday Market on Wednesday 12/14 (1-5 PM) inside the gym at the Municipal Center, 30 Providence Rd, Rt 122. I will post a preorder form for this sale, if you want something specific, look for the forms on Sunday night.

Hey Bread Lovers,

Are you ready for Christmas???! I will be post forms for Christmas Week next Monday 12/12 around 12:00 pm.

Here is my baking schedule so you can think about when and what you would like to order.

Weds. 12/14 - Grafton Farmers Market, I will post a pre-order for this market in the Municipal Center Gym, 1-5 pm. You can grab some bread and put it in the Freezer.

Sat - 12/17 - Regular menu, pick up and delivery. Just in time for Hanukkah.

Tues - 12/20 Regular menu, pick up only

Thurs - 12/22 Regular menu, pick up only

Fri - 12/23 Limited menu (Classic, Cranberry, Choc, Olive, Focaccia, Baguettes and Cinnamon rolls) Pick up will start after 12:00 pm.

Sat. 12/24 pick up only and limited menu (Classic, Focaccia, Pull Apart Rolls, Baguettes). I will be closing by 4 pm, all orders need to picked up by 4 pm.

12/25 Cinnamon Rolls by the dozen only, must pick up before 9 am, delivery available in Grafton around 7 am.

NEWS!!! I will be shutting down my home business on 12/26 and will be transitioning to the new store. Looks like by January it will be ready to move in. I will continue to post updates but you might want to think about stocking up these coming weeks as I expect to be closed for a bit in January.

I will be looking for customers in January who want to be part of our soft opening and visit the retail area so our amazing workers can practice. I will post a form for that after we get the move finished and all the equipment working.

Hey Bread lovers!

I came home with 20-25 loaves, would love to sell them in the morning. I’m on hour 21 and I’m way to tired to sell tonight.

Here is a rough idea of the loaves left: classic, rustic, Cranberry walnut, Chocolate, garlic cheddar, olive and a few baguettes. We sold 130 or so loaves, so it wasn’t a bad night — I just made too much bread for this venue.

I’m heading bed, if you want bread let me know and if I have it, I will contact you in the morning.

Oh my!!!

It is going to be a bonanza of baguettes, a frenzy of focaccia, a blaze of boules, an extravaganza of everythings, a carnival of classics, a rumpus of cinnamon rolls, a multitude of multigrains, and more, but I need thesaurus to figure it out!

Wednesday Night 12/7, 5 -9 pm, The most amazing, Holiday Sip and Shop at the Tavern House Tavern. Yah Whoooooo! Raffles, drink specials, vendors, craftsman, shopping, fun, friends, holiday cheer, and BREAD!!!

Hey Bread Lovers,

Quite the weekend, two concerts and a great day on Sunday getting bread to so many people.

I know, we sold out super quick! If missed out on getting bread here is another fantastic opportunity. I will be at the Town House Tavern right here in Grafton, 5pm -9pm. It is a really excellent Sip and Shop.

Yum…. I will be bringing the full assortment of Baguettes! Plain, cranberry-walnut, chocolate, and garlic cheese. Apple cinnamon, cinnamon, and white chocolate-cranberry cinnamon rolls, and lots of breads! Plus, a lot of cheese bites to munch while you shop and enjoy an adult beverage! Bring a cutting board a enjoy a baguette right at the bar!

We should do pairings like: an apple martini with your apple cinnamon roll, a plain baguette with a Chardonnay, cheese bites and an IPA. Dare I suggest dunking???? OK, too far, but the possibilities are endless! (If you do dunk, send me pictures 😁!)

The best thing about this Sip and Shop is the high quality vendors that will be there. Great night to shop, have a drink, and stock up on some Christmas breads for the freezer!

Big time event, hope to see everyone there.

Sip and Shop - Stop by the Town House Tavern on Wednesday December 7 from 5-9 PM for yummy drink specials, complimentary snacks, raffles, holiday shopping, FREE admission and more! There are some really incredible vendors attending this event. Great opportunity to get some shop, have an adult beverage, and buy lots of bread.

OMG there are about a bajillion vendors coming to the craft fair on Sunday 10-2 pm at the Municipal Center!! (OK around 50 vendors but it will feel like a bajillion when you see all the amazing stuff they are bringing.) Me, I'm only bringing like a 1/2 a bajillion loaves of bread... OK maybe more like 200 but if I cut them up into really small pieces....

Look for a couple of new items as I rotate around the menu.
New:
- Sourdough, white chocolate & cranberry cinnamon buns.
- Honey Chocolate Baguettes. I will also be bringing plain Baguettes, Cranberry Walnut Baguettes and Garlic Cheddar Baguettes. It's a baguette type of day...

All the regular bread will be there too! Classic, Rustic, Garlic Cheddar, Honey Chocolate, Cranberry Walnut, Cinnamon Raisin, and more. Oh yea, I will be making the Apple Cinnamon Rolls and regular cinnamon rolls, and will be offering a mixed six featuring two of each type of rolls.

I know, it's like a bajillion different types of breads. (OK, maybe like 20 but when your making all of them it feels like a bajillion!)

It all happens tomorrow, Sunday, 12/4 at the Grafton Municipal Center, 30 Providence Road, from 10 am-2 pm. The official name of the event is Grafton Celebrates the Holidays by buying lots of Bread, Craft and Vendor Fair. They shortened it Grafton Celebrates the Holidays Craft and Vendor Fair. Not sure why...

And as always, a bajillion thanks for all your support, (this time the number is accurate).

Hey Bread Lovers!

Merry, Merry, Happy Happy, it is officially the Holiday Season! Why? Because it is time for Grafton Celebrates the Holidays and the Holiday Craft and Vendor Fair!!! Whooo hooo!!!!

I am making a lot of bread, rolls, baguettes, and I am even bringing a new type of cinnamon roll that is all about the holidays. All for this market on Dec 4th at 10:00 am- 2:00 pm in the Municipal Center Gym. (Frosty Stop 19)

There will be cinnamon rolls, apple cinnamon rolls, cranberry, white chocolate cinnamon rolls, baguettes in lots of flavors, and all the other favorites breads.

Shop local for the holiday and get some bread for the week. Remember, sourdough bread freezes really well. Hope to see you there.

AND!!! Don't forget Apple Tree Arts Community Chorus (under the direction of... well, me...) will be performing on Friday night at 8:00 pm at Apple Tree Arts. They are sounding really good this year and will be performing a selection of contemporary and traditional Christmas Carols. Ticket at the door only.

So…I made Chocolate Sourdough French Toast this morning for breakfast and had a few slices leftover.

This is a peanut butter sandwich on Sourdough Chocolate French Toast. I’m giving it to our weekend guest and great friends for their flight home. It looks so tempting….

Hey all,

I mistakenly iced (2) - 1/2 doz cinnamon rolls for a customer that requested them without icing. I have since remade them but now I have (2) 1/2 dozens for sale or to give. If you interested in purchasing a 1/2 doz. let me know in the comments. I would love to get these to a needy family or someone that needs cheering up in some way but I still need to make 16 doz pull apart rolls before 3:00 pm and all the dough for the morning. Let me know in the comments.

Thanksgiving week is full, full, full. It is going to be a great week of making bread for my fabulous customers.

The picture below is from Kristin Antoon, Italian Sausage Stuffing using Rustic Sourdough Bread. I have the address and time for dinner... hm... maybe...

There will be no order forms tonight, they were posted earlier for Thanksgiving. The next form will be on Sunday, Nov. 27th.

Coming up!
11/29 and 12/1 -- I will baking with pick up and deliveries — I will try to fit in a couple of pick up and delivery days each week.

12/2 - Apple Tree Art Community Chorus Concert 8:00 pm (This has nothing to do with bread, but since I conduct that chorus I thought I would just kinda mention it..)

12/4 -- Grafton Celebrates the Arts, Craft Fair - This is a huge craft fair and I will bring a full selection of breads and rolls. Lots of parking and holiday shopping. Grafton Senior Center Gym.

12/7 - Sip and Shop at the Town House Tavern, right by the common. 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm. This will feature some really excellent vendors, cocktails and I’m bringing lots of bread.

12/14 - Grafton Farmers Market - In the Municipal Center Gym, 30 Providence Street. 2-6 pm.

Just a heads up, I will be shutting down after Christmas and will not reopen until I am in the new store. We will still be offering online orders and deliveries in Grafton once the store opens. It will take a bit to organize and train our amazing staff so look for a very slow and soft opening in the month of January.

Tuesday, November 22 Order Form, Afternoon Pick Up

I will bake twice a day for three days and then bake a very limited menu for Thanksgiving morning, (need the ovens for the bird)

Here is the menu for all days except Thanksgiving Day:
Classic Sourdough, Cranberry Walnut, Sourdough Pull Apart rolls, Baguettes and Cinnamon Rolls.

Thanksgiving will be Pull Apart Rolls, Baguettes and Cinnamon Rolls.

Thanksgiving week is pick up only and I listed pick up times on the form, I am not going to text when orders are ready, they will be ready at the times listed on the form. I set up times so we can manage pick ups at my house without a traffic jam, please come at the time you selected. I think this is going to work... we will see...

Deep Gratitude for our Men and Women that served our country. As a veteran myself, I know how much it means to put your life on hold to serve the greater cause. My deepest thanks for your service and commitment.
