This year, I have received already the greatest gift, the ability to be a stay at home mom and try my baking business full time. My family and I are incredibly blessed in so many ways.
In these last few months I have been able to decide what I want to be when I grow up. I want to be a wife, mom, and rancher. Those three things are, in themselves, a full time job.
Baking is a super fun hobby that I will always do, however, when it overtook my home (with supplies and required time) it became more of a job than a hobby. I now know why my grandpa never liked making multiples of the same thing in his wood shop. The first one is fun, after that it becomes a chore.
All that being said, my favorite thing to make and my biggest seller was
Kolaches and cinnamon rolls. If you want to order those and can give a minimum of a weeks notice I will try to take care of you with that! Also, I will gladly bake and decorate cakes for
my church’s events with a couple weeks advance notice.
Price fluctuations, space and time available are huge factors, among other things.

I’ll leave you with a pro tip: do not place a large tray of cookies on the roof of your car as you load the car. You will forget them there. They will fly off in the middle of the highway. You will have to go back and retrieve your platter from the roadway because your 8 year old will tell you to go back and get it because it is littering and that’s illegal! AND that reminds you that your name IS on the platter 😑🤦🏽♀️
