Maryland friends and family! The village gates open tomorrow!

Lots of Grichels have arrived for Opening Weekend at the Maryland Renaissance Festival and are looking for their forever homes! Swing by our booth (it's hard to miss with the giant stained glass eyes on top) and say hi to the Melissas! Melissa (the artist & founder of Grichels) and Melissa (our booth manager) will both be there this weekend! And in case you've never been to the Maryland festival or maybe it's been a while, we've included a handy map and directions to help you find us in Revel Grove. Hope to see you out there!

When leather art meets chainmail magic... 🎲👁️

It’s been almost a year since we’ve had these in stock, but just in time for Colorado’s Final Weekend, a fresh batch of D20 Dice Bags has landed!

This is a very special collaboration between Grichels and our talented friend Patrick. We craft the leather faces (featuring the "20" on one side and a watchful single eye for the "1"), and Patrick hand-dyes, paints, and weaves every single piece together with chainmail rings.

We have just 4 of these total at the booth this weekend. Don't let your luck roll a nat 1—come see us before Colorado closes its gates for the season!

You are not dreaming. We actually have PILLOWS available at the Colorado Renaissance Festival this weekend!

We haven’t made pillows in years, but Melissa whipped up a special batch to kick off the Bristol show, and we managed to snag a couple of these rare creatures just for Colorado!

Take a look at these two absolute beauties! They are incredibly soft, packed with personality, and ready to find their forever homes.

Please note that because of their substantial size and weight, these big guys are strictly in-person adoptions only and are unlikely to show up on Etsy anytime soon.

Looking for the best time to explore the lanes and upgrade your gear?

The holiday weekend is officially here, and historically, this is the secret "sweet spot" at the festival. While everyone else is stuck in traffic or waiting for nighttime fireworks, the village crowds are lighter, the lines are shorter, and—best of all—our shelves are fully stocked!

We’ve been busy in the workshop all week putting the final touches on some brand-new, highly requested pieces that just hit the display today!

If you’ve had your eye on a new companion or want to grab a fest-selling favorite before it disappears, this weekend is your golden opportunity to shop at a more relaxed pace and get first pick of the fresh arrivals.
