Well, with these colder temperatures, my laundry room has officially been converted into a greenhouse. 😂🌻 Whatever works, right?!

Making a ONE-TIME APPEARANCE on the wagon today are these gorgeous sunflowers! 💛🌻

These beauties came all the way from my sister-in-law’s farm in Pylesville. With the cold temperatures moving in, she harvested the rest of her field and brought them down to Glen Arm yesterday. Now we get to share a little sunshine with y’all! ☀️

I’m not gonna lie, y’all… this week has been a little heavy. With the loss we’ve experienced here on the farm, finding my way back into a positive headspace has been a struggle. Sometimes the best thing I can do is get my hands in some dough, turn on the oven, and keep putting one foot in front of the other. ❤️

Baking has always been my happy place, and I’m so grateful for this little community that continues to show up, support this crazy farm life, and make all the early mornings worth it.

So bundle up, grab your coffee, and come see me at the wagon!

💔 Today, we laid a farm legend to rest. 💔

Benjamin, you will never be forgotten. You were more than just a donkey here on our farm — you were a part of our story, a familiar face, and a gentle soul who touched many hearts.

We are so grateful that you got to spend your senior years here, surrounded by love, happiness, and comfort. You deserved every bit of it and so much more. You were the sweetest boy, with a heart as gentle as they come, and our farm will never quite be the same without you.

Run free, sweet Benjamin. Thank you for the years, the memories, and the love you left behind. You may be gone from our pastures, but you will forever be a part of our farm and our hearts.

We will miss you every single day. Rest easy, sweet boy. Until we meet again. 🌈🤍
