May your sourdough be crusty, and may you get here before your favorite loaf disappears!

I do not mind if you show up early — I know the bread wagon brings out the competitive spirit. 😆 BUT please park along the mailbox side of the driveway and try not to block the spot where the wagon parks.

Friendly reminder: I have to cross the road, turn this big ol’ wagon around, and come back in. Last week we had a few cookie casualties during the great wagon shuffle, and I’m hoping for a much smoother rollout tomorrow. 😂🍪

I can’t wait to see everybody! Thank you SO much for continuing to support this little wagon, my baking obsession, and this crazy little community. ❤️

See y’all THIS FRIDAY at the Bread Wagon!

The oven is working overtime, the dough is doing its thing, and I’m getting everything ready to fill the wagon! Time TBD still but I’m thinking early afternoon….ish🤪🫶🏻

Come hungry and come early — you know how quickly things can disappear around here! 😂

Most importantly, THANK YOU for continuing to support this little wagon. Every loaf, roll, cookie, and carton of eggs you take home means more than you know.

THE LAST LOAF HAS SPOKEN.

The last batch of sourdough is headed into the fridge tonight for tomorrow’s bake, and I’ve already got a pretty dang good lineup going:

🍞 Traditional Sourdough
🌿 Italian Herb and Cheese
🥯 Everything Bagel
🍫 Double Chocolate Espresso

But I’ve got ONE batch left to decide…

WHAT SHOULD IT BE?! 👀

I’m thinking Jalapeño Cheddar 🌶️🧀 because apparently I enjoy making decisions that result in me eating half a loaf myself. 😂

Or maybe something completely different?!

I officially just bought the largest haul of flour I have EVER purchased at one time, and I’m pretty sure the cashier thinks I’m preparing for the apocalypse. 🤣

But nope… just your local home baker who apparently has lost all sense of moderation. 😂🥖

This is what happens when a little sourdough hobby turns into The Bread Wagon, and this little farm community keeps showing up and supporting it. ❤️

80 pounds of flour means a whole LOT of sourdough, a whole LOT of bread, and a whole LOT of flour-covered countertops in my near future.

🚜🥖 A LITTLE BREAD WAGON HISTORY… 🥖🚜

Okay, y’all… take a good look at this picture. 👀

This photo was taken a LONG, long time ago, and what do I spy in the background?!

MY TRUSTY WAGON. 😭❤️

Before it ever became the Bread Wagon, this little wagon was already out there doing what it was meant to do — being part of the farm, the road stand, and the family business.

That’s my father-in-law and his father — my husband’s grandpa — standing there doing what they loved🫶🏻

And then swipe to the second photo… because there are my husband and his sister as little kids, already working at the road stand. 🥹❤️

Three generations of farmers. One wagon. One family tradition.

And somehow, all these years later, that same trusty wagon has rolled right back into the family story — except now it’s loaded with sourdough, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and a whole lot of chaos. 😂🥖

I absolutely LOVE that I get to be a little piece of this history.

Some things change with the years…
but apparently, that wagon wasn’t going anywhere. ❤️🚜🥖

I’m pretty sure we just set a NEW RECORD because ALL THE BREAD IS SOLD OUT. 🥖💨

And the cinnamon rolls? GONE. 🌀💨

At this point, the Bread Wagon has officially entered its “don’t look at me, I’m tired” era. 😂

What’s left on the stand?

🍪 Some delicious cookies
🤎 Some brown butter Rice Krispy treats

That’s it, folks. The bread has left the building. 😂

Seriously though—THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who came out today. It absolutely amazes me every single time. I see SO many familiar faces, and I truly love getting to chat with you, catch up, and see what everyone has been up to—even if I’m doing it at approximately 900 miles per hour trying to keep up with the wagon chaos. 😂❤️

Your support means more than you know. Thank you for continuing to show up, shop small, and support this little farm wagon of mine. 🥖🐓🐐

Now excuse me while I go stare blankly at my empty bread racks and question every life choice that led me here. 😂
