Doug (My sourdough starter- IYKYK 🤭) has officially entered its rebellious teenage phase🙄

Fed? Yes. Warm spot? Yes. Encouragement? Plenty.
Rise? Absolutely not.

At this point, this starter has its own schedule and personality! Some days it doubles like a dream… other days it just sits there judging me from the jar😒

So if you come by this weekend and there’s less sourdough than planned, just know my starter woke up and chose chaos. 🫠🍞

Sweet, smoky, salty, — basically summer in cookie form. 🍫✨

Fresh at the farmstand Saturday morning. These never stay on the shelves long!
