Something some of you may know about me is that I like to bake! What you may not know is that I collect old cookbooks. I’ll be featuring some old school recipes at The Sand-Bar and Grille. Today is from this cookbook circa 1985…Chocolate frosted toffees! Chewy toasted coconut bar with a decadent chocolate glaze! I also have dark chocolate brownies for sale and more desserts coming soon. $5 each with $1 from each going to support Old Glory Honor Flight!

Here is the likely list of goodies for tomorrow’s bake sale at the Sand-Bar:

Cinnamon Pecan Coffee Cake
Apple Butter Streusel Shortbread Bars
3 Kinds of Rice Krispie Treats (Vanilla, Fruity and Chocolate)
Oreo Seven Layer Bars
Peanut Butter Glazed Bars
Peanut Butter Glazed Brownies
Choco-Peanut Bars (Think Pecan Pie, but chocolate covered peanuts instead)
Graham Cracker “Magic” Brownies

Everything will be available all day, but I will outside selling them around 3:30-4.

‼️Today was a big baking day! 6 different desserts made, with at least a couple more to go. I will be having a bake sale at The Sand-Bar and Grille during our live music (The Cougars!) Hopefully Mother Nature cooperates! $1 from every item sold will go to the Old Glory Honor Flight mission. Stay tuned😊

It’s been a hot minute, but I’m back! Starting tonight, for the months of August and September I am partnering with The SandBar and Grille in Cecil to support their mission to get vets flying! I will be making treats and selling them at the SandBar, with $1 per item going towards the Old Glory Honor Flight. Stay tuned for a special bake sale event soon! On the menu tonight is the OG salted toffee chocolate chip cookie ($3 each), a dark chocolate peanut butter brownie and a toffee cookie butter blondie ($5 each). The bars are single serving if you are someone like me, but at least 2 servings for normal people😉
