Two new shortbread cookie creations! Light, crispy, buttery amazing treat!
Introducing my Pistachio Shortbreads (the green ones of course) and Italian Creme Shortbreads!
Made mini ones (nickel size) ALSO for Pistachio and Italian Crème mini cupcakes for an event last night. 60 of them! They were a big hit. This shortbread cookie idea worked well as an added topper to cupcakes! Cookie held up well next to frosting great! A quick frosting pipe and push into frosting of cookie right on top! Took literally barely 5 minutes to frost 60 cookies! Fast, quick, neat and tasty too! Maybe my new signature look for my cupcakes I have been looking for? Sprinkles has their look. Why not! Why shouldn’t pretty adornments taste good thou??? Making something eye appealing and unique shouldn’t sacrifice taste and THIS works well! Really happy with the results and feedback. Oh, and I got two new referrals last night. One as a high level Dallas official who has loads of reach! One lady said, “Gee thanks” sarcastically citing that now she would be craving my Italian Creme Shortbread cookie for the rest of her life, lol! That other shortbreads just now would be substandard. Bahahahaha!
Guess they will be added to my menu of goodies to offer. A standard. I may even try my hand at creating other unique shortbread cookie flavors for other cupcake flavors. Chocolate, coconut, pumpkin, peanut butter, carrot cake, lavender, matcha, spice cake, devils food…the sky is the limit! Maybe a strawberry one with bits of crunchy freeze dried strawberries atop a strawberry cupcake with pink chanpagne frosting? A lemon cupcake topped with a tart lemon shortbread cookie tgat has be rolled in a tangy lemonade powder and powder sugar mix! The sky is the limit! My mind is swirling and I am dieing to get back in the kitchen to create more!
