Local Strawberry Season!! 🍓✨In our region it has been dry for some, too wet for a few.. and just unsettled after a hot start to the season followed by a cool and cloudy stretch. But, overall all an abundant and tasty strawberry season!

🫙🪄Bring us your leftover, blemished or unsold berries to make Strawberry Jam, Strawberry topping or syrup. 🍓

🫙🪄You could freeze small amounts of berries throughout the season and come by with a collection of the unused fruit. 🍓

REDUCE HARVEST WASTE WHILE INCREASING REVENUE!
A large amount of local produce goes to waste every year due to weather and insect damage, unexpected bumper crops, or unsold due to “ugliness”.

Transform crop excess into shelf stable pantry staples to be sold throughout the year.

These delicious strawberries did not sell this past weekend.. and they wouldn’t be fresh for the next market. We will process these berries into Strawberry Jam for the farm to offer far past the local strawberry season.

Thank you to the entire local farming community for embracing our business!

This season we focused on doing custom preserving for our local farmers. In turn we processed over 5 tons of fresh produce that was surplus, damaged or otherwise unsellable.. transforming them into local pantry staples.

Our hands were busy, our days were long.. and our hearts are so full.

Thank you sincerely to all our supporters, friends and family that believed in us. We owe a debt of gratitude to those who encouraged us to pursue this dream.
And to the farmers that entrusted us with the literal fruits of their labor.. YOU ROCK!

We will available this winter for processing, crop planning and brainstorming products that can drive revenue and bolster retail items. Reach out to us to discuss the 2024 season!

CODDIWOMPLE IS BACK IN 2023!!!

Thanks to a major commitment by our friends at Coddiwomple will be able to grow (and even reimagine what is possible for) our little canning company!

The Brendle family is building an addition onto their existing packhouse to serve as our new production facility with separate rooms for dehydration, fermentation, and traditional food preservation.

This collaborative space will allow us to replenish our retail line of pantry staples while expanding our custom crop preservation services.

Our new base of operations will be in Lancaster County close to the Chester County line. We are eager to introduce ourselves to farmers and growers from Harrisburg, Pa to Atlantic City, NJ and from Jim Thorpe, PA to Ocean City, MD and everywhere in between!!

We are extremely excited to work with Green Meadow Farm on reducing crop waste, increasing food security and contributing to the sustainability of all local farms.

Happy 2023 to everyone!!! The first sunrise of the new year was amazing and the rest of the year is looking to be just as great. 2022 was tough for us; we lost our production facility and had other personal challenges that made it impossible for us to preserve any produce. A new year brings new opportunities that will allow us to get back to working with local farmers to reduce crop waste.

Stay tuned!! Soon we will be making a major announcement about the future of our tiny canning company.
