“The Lord reigneth, let the earth rejoice.” — Psalm 97:1

What a powerful reminder this verse gives us. Even in life's darkest valleys, we can rejoice because our God is on the throne. No sorrow, no storm, and no scheme of the enemy can overthrow His rule. His majesty is not shaken by the chaos of the world. His love refreshes the weary and His grace sustains the brokenhearted. The same power that commands the sea also guards your soul.

In the face of trials—sickness, loss, fear—remember that God's reign is unshaken. He holds all things in His hands, even when life feels like it's unraveling. Nothing escapes His watchful eye, and no enemy moves without His permission. Evil may roar, but it does so on a leash held firmly by the King of kings.

In heaven, there is no room for doubt; all beings fall before God in awe and worship. As children of the King, we too can live with that same sense of security and reverence. You are not lost, not overlooked, and never abandoned.

So rejoice, soul. Your King is alive, your Lord reigns, and His reign is eternal. One day every tear will be wiped away, and joy will overflow in His presence forever. Until then, stand firm—your God reigns.

“Oh that I were as in months past.” – Job 29:2

There are seasons in every Christian’s life when the past feels brighter than the present. We remember sweet times of closeness with the Lord—days filled with joyful prayer, tender worship, and a deep sense of peace. Yet now, our hearts may feel distant, our prayers dry, and our zeal diminished. Like Job, we sigh, longing for what once was.

But take heart—this longing is not a sign of defeat, but a spark of hope. It means you still desire Him. God hasn’t changed, and His love has not grown cold. Often, we drift due to distraction, pride, or spiritual fatigue, but the remedy is always the same: return to Jesus.

Seek Him again in prayer with a humble heart, and He will restore your soul. Don’t just long for the past—reach for Him today. Jesus still walks with those who seek Him, and He will once again flood your heart with light and joy. Hope is alive because He is.
