The beginning of the year its started off baking desserts. It brought me joy and peace. Along with that I began sharing with friends and family. This led me to start selling these desserts to a wider group of people. Somewhere someone took offense to that. Ultimately, I was reported to the health department for operating an illegal bakery out of my home. No, I do not know who reported me, nor do I care. All I can say is choose wisely who you sell to and surround yourself with. Never know who is watching. I feel karma will prevail in the long run. While I do understand that rules are rules. I understand, after countless steps to take, why people don't get licensed. It's not a cheap or simple process by any means. But I felt if I was gonna continue I should probably get everything done the correct way. Which, unfortunately, means the cost goes up on products. As I finished the last bit of baking for the Thanksgiving holiday, I smiled. I am very thankful for all of you who have liked, shared, and commented. I'm also grateful for the ones who have supported by purchasing desserts and shirts as well. This Thanksgiving, I had a s'mores cheesecake, turtle brownies, and a lemon bundt cake as well.
