An update on Miss Lily 💕

First, thank you all so much for the prayers, love, messages, and well wishes. The response was overwhelming in the best possible way.

After being transferred to Boise and undergoing further evaluation, we received what feels like the best possible outcome from a very scary evening. The doctors were able to rule out appendicitis and gave us answers along with a plan of action moving forward.

While she’s still not feeling her best, we’re incredibly relieved that the situation turned out to be much less serious than initially feared.

Lily spent part of the evening reading through your comments and messages and felt so loved and special. Thank you for that. ❤️

Because we are getting home so late, we are going to spend tomorrow resting and focusing on family and we will be closed. We will still be fulfilling previously scheduled orders, and we’ll be opening this coming Tuesday to make up for the unexpected closure.

Thank you all again for the prayers, kindness, and support. Tonight could have looked very different, and we’re so grateful it didn’t. 💕

Lily has been transferred to Boise with what doctors believe is appendicitis.

She’s being incredibly brave, but it’s hard watching little ones hurt. We’d appreciate any extra prayers, good thoughts, and love you can send her way tonight.

A little over a year ago, Mrs. Ohh’s Cookie Co. was built inside a 126 sq ft kitchen with only about 90 sq ft of actual room to work in.

Not gonna lie, today has me a little stressed. 😅

Between construction, orange cones, dirt piles, torn-up concrete, and equipment parked in every possible spot, it feels like we’re playing business on hard mode today.

And then there’s this guy. Today’s featured employee, if you will. 🚧

He hasn’t sold a single cookie all day, but he has done an excellent job blocking the view of the building, taking over the parking lot, and making customers question whether we’re still in business.

We ARE open. Cookies are fresh.

However, because of the construction chaos and our scheduled corporate orders (which we are SO thankful for during today’s, er, parking lot adventure!), we’re only planning to fill the case once today. So if you’ve been thinking about stopping by, don’t let the obstacle course scare you away.

We promise there’s still a cookie shop hiding behind all of this. 🍪

We had a craving for Strawberry Shortcake and absolutely zero self-control, so this beauty happened. Soft strawberry cookie, swirls of frosting, and enough shortcake crumble to make you question why it isn’t a permanent flavor. 😏

One of my absolute favorite things in the world is walking into the shop and seeing a stack of online orders waiting for me. 🥹🍪

It never gets old, and it honestly makes me feel so dang grateful that you guys choose us week after week.

That said… y’all have been BUSY. 😅

Because of the number of orders we already have scheduled, I’m going to be turning off online ordering for the remainder of the day and reopening it later tonight for next week’s orders.

I know I sound like a broken record, but there is truly nothing worse than showing up for your favorite flavor (especially minis 👀) only to find out it sold out before you got here.

So please, please, please get those preorders in for next week and save yourself from having to settle for your second favorite… although let’s be honest… your second favorite is pretty delicious too. 😉🍪💕

Happy Thursday, friends 🧡

Since we’ll be closing a little early today at 4 PM for a few important meetings related to our expansion project, we’ve decided to go ahead and open now! 🍪✨

The case is full, the cookies are ready, and we’d love to see you before we sneak away for the afternoon.

And while we’re on the topic of expansion… we know a few of you have expressed concerns that we’re “moving,” so we wanted to clear that up:

We’re not leaving. We’re expanding. 😉

Mrs. Ohh’s has officially acquired the neighboring building, which means we’ll soon have two buildings instead of one. The plan is for one space to become a dedicated production kitchen while the other serves as our storefront.

The truth is, we’ve simply outgrown our tiny little cookie shop. We’ve reached a point where our biggest challenge isn’t demand or ability—it’s space. There are only so many cookies we can physically bake in a day inside our current footprint.

This expansion isn’t just about adding square footage, it’s about creating the Mrs. Ohh’s experience we’ve always dreamed of.

We’ll be gaining an entire second building, the full parking lot, and a courtyard space that opens the door for so many fun things we’ve never had room to do before. More events. More gathering space. More opportunities to bring this little cookie community together.

Most importantly, it gives us the room to grow without leaving the place we’ve come to love.

We’re officially 26 days away from getting the keys, and while we’re incredibly excited, there’s also a lot happening behind the scenes to make it all come together.

So if things start looking a little different around here over the next few weeks… just know it’s all part of something bigger. 😘
