I’m really excited about some of the NEW fall treats joining the menu this week! 🎃🤎

🍪 NEW Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies — This one is extra special. A customer of mine, who has become a wonderful friend, was sweet enough to share her family recipe with me. Now I get to bake this special recipe and share it with all of you! Soft pumpkin cookies filled with chocolate chips and a little family tradition in every bite. ❤️

☕️ NEW Pumpkin Coffee Cake Cookies — Soft, pumpkin-spiced cookies topped with a buttery coffee cake crumble. The perfect combination of a cozy fall cookie and coffee cake!

🤎 NEW Cinnamon Roll Bundt Cake — A soft, buttery cinnamon-swirled Bundt cake with layers of brown sugar and warm cinnamon, finished with a sweet vanilla bean glaze. All the cozy flavor of a cinnamon roll in a beautiful, shareable cake!

Feeling extra grateful today. 🤎

When I started Fruitland Crumbs, I thought I was starting a little microbakery. What I didn’t expect was how many truly wonderful people it would bring into my life.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve had moments that have genuinely touched me. A customer surprised me with a beautiful tumbler monogrammed with my name. Another brought me wax melts and powdered teas just because she thought I might enjoy them. Someone else offered to jump in and help me with my orders when things got busy. And just yesterday, a customer stopped by simply because she wanted to meet me in person and we ended up having the nicest visit. 🥰

Some of the people who first came to me as customers are becoming friends, and that might be my favorite part of all of this.

Every order, message, recommendation, kind word, little gift and conversation means more to me than you probably realize. I get to bake something I love, but even better, I get to meet some really incredible people along the way.

Thank you for supporting my little bakery, but especially thank you for being so incredibly kind to the person behind it. ❤️

Introducing Spiced Molasses Chocolate Chunk Cookies! Thick, soft and chewy with chocolate chunks, molasses and warm fall spices. 🍫🍁

I’m planning to add these to next week’s menu, but I need your help…

My husband turned leftover meatloaf into THIS! Toasted Bacon Gouda sourdough, piled with meatloaf and topped with pimento cheese. 🥓🧀🍞

One of my favorite things about sourdough is turning something as simple as leftovers into an entirely new meal.

My traveling sourdough starter came through! 🍞✈️❤️

I started this loaf at 5:00 this morning and skipped the cold proof so we could have fresh sourdough with dinner tonight.

Being away from home meant I didn’t have my usual setup. No mixer, no scale, no thermometer, no scoring tool, and no spray bottle. I measured everything the old fashioned way, mixed and kneaded it by hand, and worked with what I had.

And this was the result. 🥰

It just goes to show that you really don’t need all the fancy equipment to make sourdough. Sometimes we get so caught up in exact grams, dough temperatures, special tools, and perfect timing that we forget people were making beautiful bread long before any of that existed.

Flour, water, salt, starter, two hands, and a little patience. ❤️

My traveling starter did pretty darn well! 🍞

And the best part? Fresh homemade bacon Gouda sourdough for dinner tonight.
