It was for one of my favorite customers - my pup!

Every baker needs to spoil their own dogs once in a while, so I made him a homemade, dog-friendly birthday cake to celebrate his special day 💛

No, I won't be adding dog cakes to the menu but I couldn't let his birthday pass without baking him something made with lots of love 😂

As many of you know, I've been a little quiet lately as I have been recovering from surgery. I'm not back to to myself yet but I'm eager to reopen for the month of August! I wanted to do something fun to celebrate getting back in the kitchen, reconnect with all of you and get my page buzzing again!

So... let's give away a cake!

One lucky winner will receive a FREE custom 6" 3-layer cake!

I've decided to cancel my attendance at the Midland Street Market this evening due to incoming storms! ⛈️

I've been following the radar myself, as well as the reports of several independent meteorologists and storm chasers throughout the day. With how unpredictable Michigan weather has been this week and still being a little on edge with an EF-1 tornado hitting 3 miles away, I'd prefer to not risk myself, my canopy or my cookies getting snatched up by Mother Nature if a tornado decides to spin up 🌪

There are still some vendors deciding to set up and line dancing will be going on, so check it out if the weather holds off! I'll see you all at the next market on June 25th 💕✨

This weekend I had the honor of creating and delivering my very first wedding cake for a beautiful whimsical Renaissance wedding. Featuring fresh berries, edible flowers and faux sponge cake moss, this cake truly felt like it belonged in a fairy tale 🫐🌼🍓

Seeing the brides' reactions made every bit of stress and every moment of nervousness completely worth it 😍
