What was suppose to be an anniversary cake turned into a beautiful birthday cake!!

✨Back story on the cake✨

This couple loves the outdoors and something they enjoy doing together!! They enjoy hunting, fishing and she even killed her first deer this year (a 10 point buck at that 😳) For their honeymoon they hiked the Appalachian trails!!

Back in January I was suppose to do a sugar free cake for their wedding anniversary. I won’t even lie I BOMBED it 🫣 and felt soooo bad about it. I haven’t done much sugar free baking but had seen a recipe using monk fruit which I had been researching for personal use anyway and figured I’d try it out. Carl was super supportive and told me to give it a try! Needless to say, I should have done more research because it was sooo grainy. Monk fruit is super hard to dissolve evidently 😵‍💫😵‍💫 thankfully he understood, had a back up plan, and told me I could attempt it again for his wife’s birthday!! Which I’m so thankful I got the chance to redeem myself! Thank you so much for being so understanding and patient with me!

From working and living together in high school, to marriage an raising babies together, having you as my best friend and doing life with you has always been my favorite thing 💕

But watching you embark on this new journey of letting God deeper into your heart, and drawing closer to Him each day. Has made me realize, even more so, of how proud I am of you and the woman, wife, and mother that you are!

You are doing amazing, even on the days you feel you are not. Keep turning to Him and he will always pull you through ❤️

(Also gotta give the husband a little credit here, because he did remember to surprise her with the cake lol!)

As one chapters end and another one begins, remember to chase your dreams, trust your journey, and never stop believing in what’s possible! Because as they say, the best is really yet to come!!

This was one of those cakes I just wasn’t happy with. It happens, I know but I’m seriously my own worst critic!! I just want everything to be perfect for everyone! And no matter what I did to make it better, I made it worst 🤪 gold is NOT my friend 😂

✨Important notice✨

I am very blessed to say my books are FULL for April and May! I won’t be taking anymore order for those months unfortunately or I think I may go slightly crazy trying to squeeze things in🤪

As for summer months (June, July, and possibly some of August?) as much as I hate to say no or take a break, my kids deserve a summer full of memories and adventures with a present momma! They are still little guys and need me. My oldest the other day asked if I could have a day without baking and it broke my heart a little I won’t even lie 🥺 I’m super thankful for each and everyone of you keeping me so busy and look forward to months to come…I apologize for the inconvenience but hope you all can understand💕

I got to deliver these and got a peak at the venue and it was absolutely breath taking 😍 not to mention the weather was also incredible!!! It was the perfect weekend for a wedding!
