Peek-a-boo! It’s been a loong while. I meant to post photos of our tulsi harvest months ago! We finally garbled everything up and it looks like a fair amount will be used in an ALL LOCAL blend I’m batching up. Are you interested?Reserve a bag on the Etsy shop now and I’ll be sure to ship out before the holidays.

This new blend will have a base of homegrown and harvested tulsi + milky oats from . Then, a dash of wild rose and lemongrass for some extra floral and flavor notes.

This blend had a profile that is warming, yet moistening. Focused on the uplifting the heart, I find it helps to provide a moment of pause to recenter which can be helpful during the hustle and bustle ahead.

Adrien & I took a trip out to today! We received a lovely tour of their herb garden and green house (that’s still pumping delicious sorrel greens, lemongrass and turmeric!). We also dropped off a batch of teas that will be offered to CSA member in January. Look out world, we are doing things!

Hi friends! Hopping back on here to let you know that I’ll be in Downtown Frederick serving some of my all time fav Soul Chai this Saturday. Come by for a taste, chat and some amazing jewelry made by Sue, too! I’ll be next to the Starbucks from 4-6pm. This is the only holiday event I’m doing this year so stock up or buy online for your handcrafted holiday gifts!

Pretty much the only thing in my camera roll these days is photos of Adrien. I’m not mad (lol) but I wanted to take the time to share about a really beautiful experience that’s been happening. For a couple of months a dear friend has been gifting personalized tea blends to one of their friends in need of support or who they have been thinking about. These women share their stories with me, so deep and sincere. I then create a tea to hold them and hopefully transition any stuck energy. I feel so blessed to be a safe person to share with! And I’ve received so many beautiful messages from folks sharing how the blends have made an impact, so much that some have chosen to gift an intuitive blend to another friend, creating this chain reaction—a pay-it-forward spiral that is just so RICH with love. So I just want to say thank you for your support and allowing me into the window of your souls, friends. I started Little Wild Herbs a year ago this month and it’s been such a fun project and has allowed me to connect with so many of you. Wow, what a journey it’s been.

SURPRISE! 🎉 Not exactly as planned but…It’s a boy!!! At 33 weeks, we have been blessed with the early arrival of our baby!! Mama and baby are healthy and doing well, so far he has passed every test in NICU, the last step is to work on feeding. 🍼Meet Adrien Levi Ferguson Moss, 4.2oz, 18in, Born on Father’s Day at 8:01 am. Welcome to the world little one, we couldn’t be more on love!!

Intuitive herbal tea blends for soul-aligned self-care

For years, I’ve had an inner knowing that I would create my own business, but it took a lot of self inquiry and exploration to really figure it out on the physical plane. ⁣ Up until last week, I was still bouncing back and forth between ideas. I knew that I want to help people with a practical and achievable goal, but I did not want to click subscribe to a hyper-masculine, rigid, and forced business model. ⁣ ⁣ The teenage folk-punk/activist part of me rejects the cookie-cutter mold (no matter how delicious the cookie, although peanut butter chocolate chip is always so tempting). ⁣ On a whim, I received the epiphany that not only should I refuse the traditional sales model, but I owe it to myself to let my business be a reflection of me, ALL of me. That includes my weirdo, herbalist, Buffy-loving self. ⁣ ⁣ There is so much to learn, not just from the people of Earth, but the plants too. Going out into nature keeps me centered, and somehow cancels out all of the big-time marketing and brand strategy sessions that keep my eyes glued to a computer more than half of the day. ⁣

There is something to the art of making tea, too. Everything slows down, and time seems to stop altogether when you take the first sip. It is my intention with this business to help bring people back to what really matters, to slow down, and enjoy this sweet, precious life.
