Oh. My. Goodness.

My boss is an ass 😂 Todays bake schedule can best be described as an act of self-harm. I had no business trying to bake that many things in one morning.

And as much as I want to say “but I did it, so I proved it could be done”… y’all, today would have been my first schedule fail if Maggie hadn’t rolled in earlier than expected.

She’s the real MVP 🙌🏼

Best part? IM GONNA WAKE UP TOMORROW AND DO IT ALL AGAIN 😂😂

I love you all SO MUCH. An order this big changes the whole holiday season for a small business like mine (and feels a little like an extreme sport?)

IT'S MY FAVORITE HOLIDAY!!

There's nothing better than celebrating FOOD and FAMILY - and Thanksgiving food is some of my absolute favorite!

Everyone's celebrations look a little different - for me, I am throwing a Thanksgiving brunch, because it's so hard to coordinate a time when all of my kids are available LOL! (I am BEYOND stoked to have a reason to serve tiny Hot Brown bites, though!) My oldest son and sweet Maggie will be celebrating with at least 10 holiday meals this week (seriously - she is EVERYONE'S cousin LOL!)

Y'all tell me about your family's traditions?! What weirdness are y'all up to? What's something that only happens in your family? The unique bits are the best part of the holiday - share your stories with me!

I hope to get to be a part of your celebrations this week! What can I take off your hands?

Same as last week - I'm offering a little bit of everything. Only y'all know what you need for your Thanksgiving meals. Babkas and cinnies are the go-to, but what if you need challah french toast for overnight guests? Coffee cake for a holiday brunch? Italian focaccia for the weirdos - I mean, non-traditional - Thanksgiving lasagna eaters? I'm letting the order form go BIG so everyone has what they want.

(I will even toast your sandwich bread bits for your stuffing!! AND, I'll send along my stuffing recipe if you want it! IT'S SO GOOD!)

You'll get to choose from:

Challah - Regular or Everything Bagel seasoned
Sandwich loaves (This is what I use for my stuffing! let me know if you want it cubed & toasted for an extra $2!)

Cranberry Orange Sweet Bread

Life is crazy, and my little business's 4th birthday happened back on November 2nd! It does NOT seem like it's been that long?!?!? I'm still overwhelmed and so so so grateful for the support I've gotten from each of you over this long journey :)

HAPPY ORDER DAY!!!

We've all made it through the great "implosion of the spreadsheet of 2024" and I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH for being so patient! More than a few tears were shed.

Remember that guy/girl you dated back in the day? It was a train wreck but you just kept trying to make it work? Your friends were tired of helping you work through it? It was never, ever, ever gonna work? That was me and that spreadsheet (and my sweet best friend that's an Excel goddess trying her best to assist). I'm glad it finally imploded. It was awful.

(This is the pinnacle of adulting. Comparing a spreadsheet to your most traumatizing breakups. But, here I am. Elderly.)

First - apologies to every single person that ordered this week and got a DEEPLY incorrect confirmation email (and it was literally ALL of you 🙄)

I’ve been using a spreadsheet to run everything that was designed by the previous i.t. that’s so ridiculously bloated and redundant that it’s always been barely functional… I should have scrapped it once I realized how poorly it was done, but I’ve been trying to make it work anyways 🙄

I’ve sent an email to clarify, and will send pickup date info shortly!

But y’all have been with me through every step of trying to figure out how to run this business - all of the trial and error (heavy sometimes on the error 😂) and now we’re gonna design the system we want!

I’m going to try just emailing your pickup date and location info, and I’ll include a rundown of your order and total in your bag at pickup - just in case you need to verify or double check anything!

(Y’all already get the rundown of your responses from Google forms, so I think this will work!!)

Is there anything else y’all can think of that you want or need, while I’m overhauling the entire process? Let me know!
