I know I have been quiet….. I have a lot going on and changes need to be made before I can fully open back up.

Balance in life is key and when things become unbalanced it makes life more stressful than it has to be.

For a fun Garden Tea Party we recently attended we brought “cookie kebabs” to share with everyone. They were a big hit and my daughter and I were the only people that needed the gf/df food!

I forgot to take a photo of them on a pretty platter….but these are still too cute not to share.

Pictured is our classic gluten and dairy free sugar cookie dipped in a dairy free, dark chocolate and topped with a few sprinkles for that added bling.

Who else has tried the Sweet Loren's Puff Pastry?

I played around today at and made some gf/df cinnamon twists and they are delicious!!

I melted a few tablespoons of df butter and brushed both sides of the dough. Then sprinkled with cinnamon sugar mix and cut into strips. Twisted them up before baking at 425* for 14 minutes.

Will be serving them with a vegan cream cheese dip tonight for friends. Enjoy!

This is an interesting celiac post!

How long did you think celiac disease had been on the medical radar?

The oldest case of celiac disease dates back to the 1st century AD, although it wasn't officially recognized as celiac disease at the time. The case was documented in the writings of a Greek physician named Aretaeus of Cappadocia, who described a chronic illness characterized by diarrhea and malabsorption. While the term "celiac disease" wasn't used then, the symptoms described align with what we now know as celiac disease.

Tried the sourdough bread again and this time with much better success! It’s not a very high rising loaf, but that’s okay. There are some minor, personal adjustments that still need to be made but it’s an overall success.

The flavor of this bread is like a cross between sourdough and King’s Hawaiian rolls! My crew is in hog heaven!

What is something new that you have tried in the kitchen that was previously not on your radar?

Mine….gluten free sourdough starter and making stuff with it!

I tried gf sourdough pretzel buns and rolls with good success. There is a little fine tuning needed still. Then I tried a shaped loaf of sourdough sandwich bread and it didn’t work well. The flavor was wonderful, the texture needs work!

I have fond memories of Christmas Teas with my mom, family, and friends. My mom always made everything so beautiful and enjoyable.

☕️ Weekends are sweeter with cinnamon rolls and coffee (or hot tea)!

These beauties are gluten and dairy free. It took quite a while to get the recipe worked out to my standards and quality, but it was worth every trial and error to get it right.

Throwback Thursday to one of my favorite custom cupcake orders.

Who didn’t love building with blocks? I was so excited to have the opportunity to create these.

Flavor is classic chocolate with vanilla frosting. These can be made dairy free and egg free if needed.
