I've made these Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins at least a hundred times. They are a favorite around here. They are Jeb's breakfast most weeks. Last night, I had one for dinner. Paired with a glass of milk, they hit the spot.

Two cakes went out this morning for two birthday celebrations 🍾 🙌 🥳.

Red Velvet Cake with Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting (customer request because she also likes chocolate 🍫)

7-Up Cake (a personal favorite 😍)

Let me just say....that Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting is TO DIE FOR. I'm already thinking of other treats to top it with. It's seriously that good 👍 😋. Any suggestions?

I've had this recipe saved for quite awhile and kept overlooking it to make other things.

A couple of weeks ago, I decided to make strawberry cookies with creamy strawberry frosting. I was disappointed at how flat the cookies came out.

So, I turned flat strawberry cookies into strawberry cream-filled sandwiches. Or are they called whoopie pies? What's the difference between a cookie sandwich and a whoopie pie? I'll check the Google and follow up with the info.

They were delicious! I am so pleased with the results of this unplanned disappointment 🍓.

What a week!

This time of year is always so busy. I had NO regrets doing almost nothing today (I rarely give myself permission to relax).

From baking cookies for Jeb's work crew, to cookies and brownie bites for the annual golf tournament at work, to cakes for teacher appreciation week and the annual FFA banquet, to an order that went out yesterday, I'm taking it easy for a day or two 😉.

I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day and you were able to relax, too.

My obsession with mini treats is real. I bought yet another set of mini cake pans and had to give them a whirl.

Amaretto Pound Cakes

Butter, amaretto, and the usual ingredients compiled to make these delightful treats.

But when they come out of the oven....that's when the real treat comes together. They are covered with an amaretto + sugar + butter glaze while they're still hot. A powdered sugar dusting finishes them off.

Breakfast for dinner!

Blueberry French Toast Casserole is how we started our week on Sunday. And, leftovers for lunch yesterday were even better (even though I forgot to pack the syrup) 😋.

First picture: made with gluten-free bread for the family. Second picture: made with French bread, and was given to some sweet neighbors. Both were paired with bacon and the meal was complete!

What an honor it was to be asked to provide mini bundt cakes for The Woman's Club of Fort Worth Thursday night. They had an Americana themed meeting and enjoyed Red Velvet Cake and Vanilla Cake, both with Brown Butter Frosting and American toppers. The ladies loved them and none were left by the end of the night.
