Butterbeer Cookies

I tried three different ways to bake them. They are all the same size. Left to right:

A. Scooped then topped with morsels
B. Scooped, rolled, no morsel toppings
C. Scooped, rolled, topped with morsels, and slightly flattened

Cast your vote in the comments. I think I know my preference but want to hear from you.

These cookies will make their debut at a neighborhood event in a few weeks (orders are always open).

Today's purchase was made for the sole intention of bringing cooler temps.

We had baked tacos tonight. They are so easy and versatile.

Why am I posting about this? Because duh! I make my own taco seasoning! Look at that delicious taco meat with the perfect taco seasoning 😋. Each package yields six servings and is $12.

Marking myself a SURVIVOR of today's heat, aka purgatory, aka I've never been so close to turning into flames while standing still. I have never wanted a hose down in the backyard more in my entire life. 🔥 💧 🚿 🧼

Regardless of being an innocent participant of the pact Texas made with the devil, it was a great day. I met some really great vendors and gained some new customers. And who knew Weatherford has the cutest little downtown?

I'll likely be back in November with some seasonal goodies (it WILL be pumpkin and apple spice season by then). 🎃 🍎

In the meantime, I have a few things leftover (all made with gluten-free ingredients):

Getting some new things added to the list.

☕️ Espresso Chocolate Chip Scones with Coffee Glaze

I've never been a fan of coffee but I do love its aroma. My kitchen smelled really good while these were baking (the butter aroma also made an appearance 👌).

🤠 Cowboy Seasoning

I haven't jumped on the cowboy seasoning bandwagon yet (cowboy butter, cowboy mayo, cowboy cream cheese...), but after getting these made up for this weekend's market, I think I might soon. It smells heavenly.

Once it cools off, I will make some Apple Spice Scones and Cranberry Walnut Scones. I just can't while it's still so.freaking.hot outside. Stay tuned.
