There is a story behind these minerals that goes back to the Creation story of the Diné.
The story of Monster Slayer and the Boy Who Runs with Water. Their journey for weapons to destroy the Monsters who had descended into their homes and clans and brought envy, greed, famine...the fiercest of them all was Yé'iitsoh, who was covered in flint armor. Monster Slayer shot him with the Lightning bolt arrow and he exploded..his black blood created reservoirs of volcanic pockets thru the land. This blood of Yé'iitsoh, IS the Sacred Minerals we use to bring life into our soils and into the pristine skin care products of Pablo's Lotus Apothecary.

What are the Sacred Minerals?

Transforming inside a sack of crystalized webbing..did she know what she was getting ready to go thru? She spent an entire day spinning herself up in it..it was almost translucent at first..slowly becoming a darker brown over the days. She wiggles inside of it, growing and changing..the crysallis shifts sometimes to a full 45° angle. I wonder what she is thinking everyday I wash dishes and look at her. It must be really tight and a little scary. Might even feel like she cant breath..but she dances in there anyway...
I have seen many crysallis'..but this girl is an Artist for sure! She has sculptured herself into an ominous image of a bat. A Front. A protective camouflage. I like her style.
Can't wait to meet this One.

I have recently been undergoing a bit of a detox. Now this isn't easy..its complicated..its more than biological detox..its genenrational detox. It has its ups and downs. There are many plant and mineral tools to use during this process but at the end of the day..there is solice and perhaps a bit of loneliness.
Ultimately that is where the Power is. A silent Owning of my Space.
I took myself on a date last night. I enjoyed the heck out of it. Walking thru the streets of downtown, watching jazz at the S**t lounge and Adam Corolla spilling it at Hyenas..just to break the monotony. To surprise MYSELF!
I love what I do for a living..I am so passionate about it that I let it consume ME..but then I have to remember that I am a woman beyond my work and Gifts. I was a Me before I was Named Cherissa. Here to experience this Life.

There are many steps that go on behind the scenes to keep the bottles flowing♡
All so important.
Especially self-care.
I have found myself meditating on how to stay neutral and focus on my art to heal, versus in vice with daily advertised chaos.
Head up, shoulders back, laser sharp focus.. This allows me to sustain energy, momentum, and balance in my work.
