Well..
I went and did it again y’all.
And it looks like I’ll be doing it again and again.
I had the pleasure of creating this Dark Chocolate Raspberry Cake for Jillian for her Birthday tomorrow. It’s filled with fresh raspberry compote and Dark Chocolate Raspberry mousse.
3 layers.. She ordered 2.. but.. I don’t listen very well. 🤷🏽‍♂️
You know.. under promise over deliver blah blah blah.🙄😆
My inspiration was those 70’s drip candles and geodes.
The magic in this one is if you shine a flashlight on it in the dark it’s iridescent!
Cool factor: Level reached! 🤟🏽
I absolutely loved creating this cake and a 6pk of the Apothecary Campfire Cure cookies for you Jillian. I hope you have the best birthday ever tomorrow.
Here’s to many more 🍷

And then there were 3!
The battle of the jars has taken an unexpected turn this week.
We have 1..2…3 jars battling for the best jar of the week this week.
Which one would you smash?
We have last weeks Boston Cream and Banana Pudding Jars up against new challenger Raspberry Lemonade.
Cake>Raspberry compote>Lemon Curd
Repeat.
You can go buy the little bitty ass jars at the farmers market for $9-10
Or
You can smash a big boy at The Willows for the same price
These jars are big enough for 2 desserts at 16oz and weighing in at 1.7lbs.
Share with your person, your dog ( your dog asked me to say that) or eat the entire damn thing yourself.. no judgement here..
Last weeks jars lasted all of 2-3 days
Let’s see how quick you tear these suckers up.

Romanian charred bread?
Ok, I’m in. 🤟🏽
Pâine bătută is a traditional bread from the Transylvanian region. The hallmark of this rustic bread is its preparation, wherein the crust is burned until charred and then beaten with a stick, creating a somewhat visual spectacle—the said technique results in bread with a unique texture, a smoky flavor, and a rough, rustic appearance.
This bread will be served with 3 different Romanian appetizers at our Let’s Eat Romania dinner tomorrow Sat June 13th from 6:30-8 pm.
We have a few tickets left. If you want to try some unique Romanian cuisine this will likely be your only chance to try Romanian cuisine locally.
Tickets: The Culture Club Dinner Presents: Let’s Eat Romanian Traditional Dinner
