Hi, I'm Isabel Lane, owner of Barry's Bakery.
Starting this bakery has been about so much more than cookies, cakes, and sweet treats. For me, baking became a lifeline during one of the most difficult seasons of my life.

For years, I struggled with severe anxiety. At times, it was completely debilitating and made everyday life feel overwhelming. During that journey, I discovered that baking brought me peace. Measuring ingredients, creating something with my hands, and sharing it with others became a form of therapy that helped me find calm in the chaos.

As my confidence grew, so did my dream of sharing that joy with others. My hope is that every treat we make brings a little comfort, happiness, and connection to those who enjoy it. If my story can help even one person feel less alone in their own struggles, then sharing it is worth it.

The bakery is named in honor of my grandfather, who was one of my biggest supporters and greatest cheerleaders. He loved being my taste tester and never missed an opportunity to encourage me. Although he is no longer with us, his love, support, and belief in me continue to inspire everything we do. Naming the bakery after him felt like the perfect way to honor his memory and the role he played in helping me believe in myself.
