💙 September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month 💙

To be completely transparent, I actually just learned that September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. And the second I found out, I knew I wanted Homefront Confections to do something meaningful with it.

Prostate cancer changed my life and my family’s life, even though I was never the one fighting it. Ultimately, it took someone we loved from us far too soon. 💙

So throughout the entire month of September, 20% of every custom order booked with Homefront Confections will be donated to ZERO Prostate Cancer.

ZERO Prostate Cancer works to help find a cure, connects fighters and their families with support and resources, and, most importantly, spreads awareness about prostate cancer and the importance of getting tested.

If sharing my family’s experience, donating through my little home bakery, or even making one person think, “Maybe I should schedule that screening,” makes a difference, then it’s worth it.

So this September, every cake, cookie, macaron, and custom order will mean just a little bit more. 💙
20% of your custom order will be donated. Every order helps us give back. Every conversation helps spread awareness.

We’re already gearing up for the holidays at Homefront Confections, and I’d LOVE to create a beautiful staple for your Christmas table this year! ❤️🎂

I’ve gathered some Christmas cake inspiration photos featuring styles and designs I’d really love to bring to life in my own kitchen this holiday season. If you book by September 15th, I’m offering cakes inspired by these designs at a special discounted price! I’m only offering 1 cake per design.

🎂 4-inch cake | Serves approximately 2–6 | $35
🎂 6-inch cake | Serves approximately 6–15 | $50
🎂 8-inch cake | Serves approximately 20–35 | $65

Pricing includes a standard cake flavor and standard frosting/icing. Deluxe flavors, fillings, and frosting options will be available for an additional cost.

🎄🦃 CALLING LOCAL BUSINESSES — LET’S GIVE BACK THIS HOLIDAY SEASON! 🦃🎄

The holiday season is truly one of my favorite times of the year, and one of the things I love most is finding ways to give back to the community that supports all of us throughout the year. ❤️

Last holiday season, with the help of some incredible people and local businesses, we were able to give back 15+ toys to children in need, 6+ full holiday dinners, 10 desserts, and 8 breakfasts to families throughout Fort Drum, Evans Mills, and Watertown. We also had businesses donate photography packages, bakery packages, gift certificates, goodies, and SO much more!

This year, I want to make it even bigger. 🥹🎁

I’m looking for local businesses, both brand new AND established, that would like to partner with Homefront Confections for our Thanksgiving and/or Christmas giveaways!

You don’t have to be a huge business or donate something extravagant. Whether it’s a product, service, gift certificate, meal item, experience, or something completely unique to your business, every contribution gives us another opportunity to reach a local family or individual this holiday season.

And if you’re a newer business, I would especially love to have you involved! This is such a fun way for our small-business community to come together, support one another, and do something meaningful for the community we serve. ❤️
