We’ve had an active few months at Brinkman Real Estate! With two closings completed since December, and tracking towards another two closings over the next several months, we’ve been busy executing our investment strategy across the Intermountain West.

Here are a few of the milestones we’re proud to share:

New Investment Opportunity: Kipling Commons – A 48-unit apartment community in Arvada, Colorado; we’re acquiring well below comparable sales and replacement cost. The investment structure can accommodate 1031 exchange proceeds. Closing in May.

Acquired: Knox on 12th – In February 2026, Brinkman Real Estate acquired Knox on 12th Apartments, a 56-unit community in Ogden, Utah.

Acquired: Holmes Park Townhomes – In December 2025, Brinkman Real Estate acquired Holmes Park Townhomes, a newly constructed 60-unit community in Oregon City.

Closing in March: Pointe Plaza Apartments – A 123-unit luxury community in Cheyenne, Wyoming, is almost fully subscribed and due to close in March.

We’re pleased to share our latest acquisition in Ogden, Utah.

Brinkman Real Estate has acquired Knox on 12th Apartments, a 56-unit multifamily community completed in 2020. The newer-construction asset features modern interiors, efficient layouts, and is expected to require minimal near-term capital expenditures.

The property includes an assumable $8.96 million Fannie Mae loan at a 3.49% fixed rate through 2033, providing long-term financing stability in today’s environment.

“Knox on 12th aligns well with our strategy of acquiring high-quality, newer-construction housing at a basis below replacement cost,” said Tara Meehan, Vice President of Investments.

We’re grateful for the team effort behind this closing and look forward to continuing to grow thoughtfully in Utah.

Recently attended National Multifamily Housing Council, and the consensus was cautious optimism that multifamily investment sales activity is gaining momentum. With apartment values down, we continue to believe that now is a great time to buy multifamily, and feedback at NMCH was that we’re one of the more active groups out there with one asset closed in December and three more in the closing pipeline. Looking forward to continued momentum in 2026!
