So I was off last week. Big shock! Weather fought me most of the week so I was stuck in the shop. Did something a bit different this week. Put together a 2" thick Chestnut Oak slabs table out of 2 slabs. I wish I had somewhere to put this thing cuz it turned out right nice! Waiting on the leg kit and it will be up for sale!!!!!

Ok so we are going to try a little something different. We have this cedar set that includes a cheese board, a lazy Susan and serving tray. We would like to run a "silent auction" through messanger for 2 weeks. The thing is we need your help! We want to donate 100% of the final sale price to a local family in need. As I'm sure you all have seen via Facebook and from word of mouth, there have been families in our community that have lost homes due to fire. This is our way as well as yours to put a smile on a families face just from seeing the community cares! I ask each of you reading this to please share to your page or invite a friend to follow. Cherry slab, 49"x 13 on one side and 14 1/2" at its widest and 1 5/8" thick. This slab has been flattened and belt sanded on both sides. Ready for your project!!!! We have 1 more out of the same cut. Finished and ready for you at $60! Just remember you could by a green slab like this from somebody else for maybe 40 bucks. Wait a year to use it. Flatten the cup or twist out of it yourself. Spend $10 on belts to get it to this point. Or just pick this up and do your thing!

If you are a Walnut fan then we have something for you! We just sealed this Walnut slab table and she's ready to go! It measures 52" long and 20" wide on average. Beautiful White Oak legs to make it strong enough to be either used as a coffee table or a bench. This was built at a hight of 20" so it could be used for either! The rippled grains is this slab are truly amazing and the pictures don't do it justice! We are offering this out of here for $600 or it will be hauled to craft shows this spring where it will bring much more! This is your chance to own a one of a kind piece!

With spring right around the corner we know people are going to want to sit out in their yards by their fire pits. We will be offering a 6 foot bucket full of mixed good firepit wood such as poplar, gum and maybe some mixed oak for $25 a bucket! Enjoy that fire pit at an affordable price. Price is picked up but delivered will be available at an added cost for fuel!

54 weeks ago while riding around on the farm I had the idea of trying to offer the area affordable project wood. Well we are taking another step to help you in that process! We understand that buying a slab of wood can be scary. There are the questions of will I be able to do anything with it after it dries?? If it isn't flat how will I deal with it?? Well to help you with those questions and get a step closer to building yours dream piece, we will now from time to time be offering flattered slabs that are now ready to just do your thing with! This is the first we have up for sale. This is a 48"x 11" on one end and 13 1/2" on the other walnut slab. This would be a beautiful bench or sofa table top! The slab has been flattered and run over with 50 and 120 grit belts to be ready for your project. To show the grain color it was cleaned off with just mineral spirits! Imagine how pretty it will be with a true finish! We are going to offer this slab for $150 ready for your choice of sanding and project! We are also going to start offing flattening and sanding of slabs if they were bought from us of not. Our main objective was to get you building at an affordable cost and we will honor that if a slab was bought here or another state. Build on and love it! We are here for you!!!
