Friendly reminder that it is scorching hot outside & if you’re having a party, your cake should be transported in a vehicle with the AC on high & then kept in the fridge until about an hour before serving (maybe less in this heat). & even when taking it out it of the fridge, keep it inside & out of direct sunlight or IT WILL MELT. This ruins the integrity & can cause your cake to tilt, lean, the layers to slide apart, or the whole cake to fall apart altogether. Just a PSA from your local baker/cake decorator💖🫶🏼

Ya girl baked 16 DOZEN cupcakes today😮‍💨 Baked 4 cake layers last night, have a cake to frost/decorate tonight. Tomorrow I have 2 dozen more cupcakes & 6 cake layers to bake, 15+ batches of buttercream to make, & have to frost/decorate all of the cupcakes & the 2 tier cake. Saturdays order got canceled unfortunately but then I have ANOTHER cake to bake, frost & decorate for Sunday🤪 Busy busy week for me🥰

I’m so blessed to be doing what I love every day! I’m working on a cake tonight & then this coming week I have a cake due Thursday, a wedding with 13 dozen cupcakes & a small 2 tier cake due Friday, a cake due Saturday & a cake due Sunday! Such a busy week ahead, it’s going to be a challenge but I’m so overjoyed!🤩💖
