Kicking off my 2026 wedding season this weekend with these two & couldn’t ask for a better start 🙌🤍

The past few weeks have been full of timeline calls, final details, and bringing all the moving pieces together with lots of couples and now we’re finally here. It is so special to watch months (sometimes years) of planning come to life in one unforgettable day.

This season is going to be filled with so much intention/ joy, and I can’t wait to see every vision come to life and capture it all. Let’s go, 2026 💃

Has this song been stuck in anyone else’s head all week? 🤭

I had so much fun with Taylor and Nolan at their engagement session nearly a YEAR ago when I was super pregnant. They were such great sports with the session moving a little slower than usual in the June heat 😅 Engagement sessions are a great opportunity to get to know your photographer so they aren’t a stranger on your big day since they’ll be around you a LOT. And of course you’ll get used to being in front of the camera and have some beautifully captured memories to look back on of your engagement!! 🌸

Becoming a mom in 2025 reshaped how I see the world and the way I want to document it. Time feels more fleeting now. More sacred. To me, photography has shifted from simply remembering moments to honoring the season you’re standing in while it’s still unfolding.

I’ve been quietly refining, reimagining, and realigning my work with what matters most to me. The quiet moments, the in-between glances, & the kind of love that doesn’t perform. It just is.

This rebrand with .studio has given me a deeper understanding of why I do this and who I create for and with it comes:

& a more intentional approach to storytelling.

I ended 2025 by photographing my 100th wedding! 🤯

A couple recently asked me how I can remember so many details from their wedding even years later and I think the answer is actually pretty simple.

You remember the days that break your routine. And for me, wedding days always do that and every one is unique.

I remember the way the morning feels with the giddiness and the nerves. I remember hands shaking just a little while buttoning a dress and the way a groom keeps fidgeting with his ring as he gets used to the weight of it on his finger.

I remember the glances you gave each other when no one else was watching right after you walk down the aisle married.

These are just a few of the things that stay with me: not just how your day looked, but how it felt.

If you’re a past client of mine, know that I think about you often & I’m endlessly grateful for every single one of you who trusted me to be present, to pay attention, and to preserve your memories! 🤍
